Strategy:

Start with castform and mentor turn 2 to get 2 trapinch and a spearow. use castform to draw until hes knocked out. by that time have 2 flygon d out and start attacking with either flygon ex, ray d, eggs, or mew *. send up flygon ex when needed and try to attack with flygon d.

I REALLY need help so plz give me advice asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:redface::bigrin:

I think you should try out Furret with a possible Corsola as your starter setup since you are smoked if your opponent plays Cessation Crystal. Through my suggestion, you would be less vulnerable since you wouldn't be totally reliant on Powers.

corsola is a good idea cuz it only needs 1 enrgy to get 3 basics. it would also mean that i could get any 1 of 5 basics and still get a good setup. Hmmmmm.....

Don't use Mew*. It isn't really good in this format. I am a R-Gon player too, and i have never needed it (I have tried it). Exept for that, good deck. Maybe take out one :grass: for a :psychic:.

An EX deck this is a joke right?

You can not possibly think that an EX deck can compete in this years format. EX's can work as a tech, but if they are your main attacker you are toast.

As sad as it is, I never found much of a use for Mew* in my old R-Gon deck either. I was only a viable option when Infernape was rollin'. Poor old Mew*.

I think 3 Flygon d and 3 Flygon ex is too much. I'd recommend just playing two of one and three of the other, whichever seem to work the best (I used prefer 3 Flygon ex d as the one with three copies, but most list give Flygon d the three copies).

Actually, it's just that Infernape was taken down by empoleon... it's still a viable threat, however... it's just that more people running Empoleon so infernape usage is down...

Mew * can still throw your opponent's pokemon for a loop... it might take a few more energy but it can still work...

And yeah... you should watch out using exs as a main attacker... they can backfire easily...

the main attacker is the 3 flygon d. they power up eggecutor and mew * as well as themselves. flygon d also has resistance to gallade, and can do a flat 60 damage. you only bring up the ex when you need to. but those of you who think its crazy to play exs, check out my other deck and rate it plz!!!!!!

(Misolkrow/Ghost hawks-they will suck out your soul!!!!!!!!!)

lol

Mew* is a GODLY pokemon. Maybe not this format, but last format? Holy moly he was amazing.

Off the bat, a 4/3/6 line won't do. I like 4/3/5 if you must, but even a 3/2/3 line would do.

I like the idea that you are trying to use R-gon in HP-on. Props!

However, your trainer line and other stuff could use some help, so here are my fixes.

+ 1-2 :grass: :lightning or :psychic: NRG. You run 4 Castform, but you need NRG in play for those to work, so I think you need one or two more.

Mentor is great, but I think that 2 are plenty. Drop one for a Scott.

- 1 Vibrava and -1 Flygon ex. (two should be plenty, and Lake boundary gets OHKOes that you need, so that's enough, and 4 Rare Candy covers the 2 Vibrava.)

-1 Steven's for a Professor Birch. (anti Absol tech) and maybe think about removing the TGW for a Copycat or Oaks Research. (depending on playstyle.)

Try that out and tell me what you think.

Good luck!

changes have been made! i also added chimecho d cuz even w/out the holon engine it still helps with 3 mentor and 3 adventurer in the deck. without it i couldn't get enough energy. thanks for all your help!!!
