Feraligatrδ

Right now, my little bro (10), is playing what I guess is called "Megagator", consisting of Meganiumδ and Feraligatrδ with a really simple trainer line. What I was wondering was would the deck be better, or if not better, more simple for him, if we replaced the 2-1-2 Mega with a 2-1-2 Flygonδ. The Mega can search for 3 Pokémon and really help with set-up, but the Flygon will help with speed acceleration. The deck plays Fearowδ, so I think it will still be uber fast without Mega.
Just a reminder, he's only been playing for a few months, so I kinda wanna keep his deck simple for him, but also able to hold its own (if that's even possible).

So, which is it? Mega or Flygon?

I would play meganium delta because it's a great attacker especially with the added damage from feraligatr's bodies. Delta reduction is also great against empoleon.

yeah, makes sense. But, with feraligatrs' bodies, flygon can dish out 80-90 for 3 that can get around resistance, buffer piece, and delta reduction.

But the deck would be much slower as a result. Plus, either way, the deck is prone to getting whupped on by Absol.

But I don't think kids age 10 are playing absol much.
I love Flygon d. Why don't you ask him to try it out a few times. See which one he likes better. Don't think it'd be that horrible, but I'm not sure if it would be any better.

And meganium delta can't dish out 80-90 damage with his second attack?
It would go faster with poke's with meganium but slower with energies, which goes faster with flygon.

Definately stick with Mega. As much as I love Flygon, this deck is much more suited for Meganium, as he searches, and has some good attacks.

haha, yeah, good point ^^

Why does everyone ignore Nidoqueen, who can dish out up to 130 damage with 4 benched Gatrs? (More likely to hover around 110 tho)

I would bring him up to a league with both sets of lines and have him try both out, see which one he likes better or which one works better.

its not about the sniping
its about the late delta circle which is like when i was playingi reduced the exxegs from 3-3 to 2-2 and then i was able to a t2 queen out and then just get all out and then go mad with the main attack which was delta circle i would be doing 90 damage average by turn 3 and then depending n how ure doing snipe and then just sset up for kos using feraligatrs first attack. its simple tbh
