I have been wanting to run a deck different than everyone else. I wanted to pick either Absol or Stantler to start, I thought Stantler would be more useful.

I am running a deck consisting of:

14 Pokemon:

4 Stantler SW

4 Bagon SW
2 Shelgon SW
2 Salamence SW
2 Salamence EX DF

27 Trainers and supporters:

2 Mr. stones project
2 Celio's network
2 bebe's search
4 Roseanne's research
4 team galactic mars
2 great ball
2 potion
4 Rare candy
2 night maintenance
1 Speed stadium
1 Battle frontier
1 Drake's stadium

19 Energy:

10 Water energy
6 fire energy
2 Holon's Castform
1 Scramble energy

My strategy is to start with Stantler, use Lead to get that needed supporter, while setting up a Salamence SW on the bench use Direct Hit until I get 2-2 of each energy then badly damage either the Active or a Bench Pokemon with Dragon Finish or I could set up a Salamence EX and use his Type Shift poke power if needed. Then use either of his two attack s for 60 or 80 by Scramble energy. They both own a great amount of HP SW=140, EX=160 and the ex is A Water type for a twist and both are Resistance to :fighting: and a Weakness to:colorless.

If you see any problems or Flaws let me know, Thanks!!!:thumb:

All right, but what can I do with Salamence SW, is Stantler the right pokemon to start with?

I do like Stanler, but instead how about Mawhile CG or something else that can get Rare Candy? Then again,I am a noob.

You took my deck name and idea! If anyone does not believe me search for "Stance Decklist" you will find it.

hahahah i remember seeing stance up here but i just thought that someone bumped the original one

anyway, mawhile is looking good to me in here, even though setup attacks that have energy costs are a little slower in a big deck like this, but it's girafraig and stantler put together, magmar hurts it but sally ex is resistant anyway, plus i haven't seen anyone worrying about magmorter matchups anyway

Hey Toxictaipan, Dude remember I was the one who told you I was running a deck just like this, remember? This is it!!! I am using different pokemon, but I loved the name YOU gave it.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Do I still need to run The 2 Scramble energy with the Holon Castform, or just the 2 Holon Castforms? I have CC this weekend, so I wnated to get it together before Saturday. Do you think a chance against Gardi/Gallade decks?

I was just kidding man take it easy!

If I was serious I would have said something mean

I am not mad, I just wanted to let you know that it was me! Well.....What do you think? I wanted to build something that was different than everyone else, I dont think anyone else is running a deck like this. I want to add Holon's Castform somwhere in this deck!:thumb:

Cool deck, here is a bit of advice.

first, Stantler is nice, but if you run into a lot of Absol you may want to use Sableye. Not only can Sableye disable Absol, but with the :colorless: resistance it is also great Vs. Blissey too.

I'd also put in a few holon energy FF, because with that and one fire energy you could protect your weakness and then extange it with holon castform when needed! You might even want to put in a holon energy WP or two if you see a lot of Gardylade. :thumb: (Just remember they don't work on your EX!)

Also, you may want some scott and castaway added in somehow,
because searching for what you need > drawing what you don't need

And last, I'd switch the 4 TGM (Team galactics mars) for 4 POV (Prof. Oaks visit) this deck doesn't really need disruption, and the extra draw could save you.

Other than that it looks pretty good.

Thanks Greenzangoose, I ordered 2 of each Holon FF and WP just now, and I already orderd 4 Sableye CG about 4 days ago, to run with a G&G deck I was thinking of building. Do you think this deck would possibly hold its own with a G&G deck? If there is any way to make it more faster, PLEASE let me know. THANKS!!!:thumb:

YOU'RE WELCOME!!! :thumb:

I think that this deck could hold up to a Gardylade deck if done properly.

Hmmm... If you want a bit more speed you could remove some supporters for some quickballs, greatballs, pokedex handy102whatever  and/or pokenav's. You could also add in another Salamance (SW) or Salamance EX (Preferably the SW one) because you can have up to 4 EX ones and 4 normal ones! (I wouldn't put in that many...)

Another thing you could put in is some Double Rainbow energy (If you have any.) So you can power up your beasts one turn sooner . I'd also take energies out untill you have about 16 (19 is a bit too much)

Hope you do good with you deck.

I got a few of those I try to work those in, but I had 2 DR, but got rid of them like a retard! You think the 2 castforms and the Scramble will be good or what might I need to change? Do you know if anybody else is running a deck like this? I try to build things different, but I have heared people say" If it was a good deck, it would have already been built", so I try my best! I dont want to run Gardylade like everybody else, unless I have too. Thanks, for your help guys!!!
