Hmm. They have never used the colors purple and orange. Pokeman Purple & Orange :lol:.
(TYranitarFReak), we already have a Crystal Version from the GSC generation. Opal sounds pretty good though. The problem is that they may end up getting into trouble with the automobile manufacture? Not sure if that could actually happen. I remember that Nintendo registered a domain name that could possibly be a future title. I think Opal was the one I heard about. There could be more. Those websites would probably be the best way to find out tentative titles.

There isn't going to be a next generation.
They introduced gods and an entire mythology system. They can't keep making more legendary Pokemon and therefore can't make any new generations.

They've made millions of the same storyline 4 generations in a row... I'm sure if they want to do it again, they can and will.

It would be nice to see a few more evolutions for those who didn't get any.

I think you're just joking but anyway, that is like Nintendo saying, "We're making too much moolah off this stuff. We gotta stop NOW!" They seem to space each generation so that it hits the new age of children. I got caught in the GS era, now the new kids are into the whole DP thing. It keeps business up and promotes the sales of new toys, cards, etc. with each generation.

Of course it's not going to happen, because they're a company. By definition, they're greedy pigs that won't stop until the monetary well runs dry.
The *smart* thing to do would be to end it now (Frankly, the smarter thing would have been to never make Arceus and friends in the first place), but of course that's not what they're going to do.

They'll almost never run out of ideas...
Looking at digimon Gen 4/5 (not so sure..) makes me wonder - will pokemon introduce some sort of hybrid of human and pokemons? :smile:

I don't think there will be a new generation of Pokémon. I believe when/if/they already have (?) hit 500 pokémon they will stop there. Maybe they will continue to make new storylines but keep the same pokémon.
A storyline where it didn't include "defeat gyms, defeat elite 4, catch pokemon, complete pokedex" would be interesting. Maybe they should try something different? Personally I don't like the DP pokémon as much as the others. The evolution of magneton is just a flying saucer with eyes!
Personally I think they're ruining some of the originality of the Pokémon who didn't have evolutions. Stop here imo. Magmortar ftl =(

There's another trio along the lines of the birds/dogs, consisting of Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini. The two box-art legendaries are Reagan and Gorbachev.
