2008 IDAHO STATE POKEMON CHAMPIONSHIPS
Saturday - March 1, 2008

Nampa Civic Center – Casler Room
311 Third Street South
Nampa, Idaho 83651
Registration: 8:15 am – 10 am
Start Time: 10:15 am

Tournament Information:

Three Age Divisions -
Juniors (born in 1997 or later)
Seniors (born in 1993, 1994, 1995, or 1996)
Masters (born in 1992 or earlier)

Format – Modified Constructed Deck
Bring your own 60 card deck - Cards are allowed from EX Holon Phantoms or later, Promos from POP Series 4 and above as well as Black Star Promos numbered 037-40 or DP01 & higher)

Age Modified Swiss (all players play in every round)

Food - We will take a Lunch break after two/three rounds. A dinner break will be taken before Single Elimination finals. There are plenty of restaurants near the Civic Center.

Prizes Prizes Prizes

All participants will receive a Pokémon TCG S/P/T Championships promo card and a commemorative S/P/T Championships pin, while supplies last, all just for playing!

The top 8 players in each of the three age divisions (Juniors, Seniors & Masters) get the following prizes:

1st Place - 36 Pokémon Booster Packs, State Championship 1st Place Trophy, Prize Bag,
2nd Place - 16 Pokémon Booster Packs, State Championship 2nd Place Trophy
3rd Place - 8 Pokémon Booster Packs, State Championship 3rd Place Trophy
4th Place - 8 Pokémon Booster Packs
5th-8th Place - 4 Pokémon Booster Packs

Door prizes will be given away

DS Tournament to be held, rules to be posted soon.

We look foward to having all you out of staters come on in to our beautiful state and play pokemon with us. Our players are ready and excited to beat the best from the other states, so bring it on! We look forward to seeing you all here on March 1st.

Washington, Utah, Idaho...looks like this could be a pretty good sized event. Like Rob said we'll be heading North in force! We will be bringing slightly less than an army but a little more than a boatload, so there will be plenty of us.

We look forward to all you who are coming from the surrounding states to play in the Idaho State Championships. We hope you enjoy Idaho and spend lots of money here to help our economy to prosper. However, the Idaho players are ready to defend our state against you Pokemon invaders. :biggrin:

2 and a half weeks, feel the excitement! I am still trying to dig out of all the Logan snow, but I'm confident I can make it to the top by then. Are there any ideas on what kind of side events are going to be run?
