hey guys, i wan some comment from u all about banette (sw) and cresselia lvx combine together to form a deck......
i'll make it simple, juz banette using its GHOST HEAD + creselia lvx's atk and power, can it be good?
cz i've tried it , and it seems not very good enough to others but compared to gallade and honchkrow, its seems effective.
i'm qiute confused right now, so can u all give me an example deck list?
tat will be great :thumb::thumb:

it wont be good because you put damage on banette and your turn ends to they just kill banette and also what if you start with cress.

look, if u sacrifice ur banette, ur oppnt gets one and we'll get two with FULL MOON SKIP, plus cress can transfer damages.it is juz the same as burning liability!!!Hey, i've tried it, bancress beat gallade and honchkrow for 2 times each!!!!!:lol::lol::thumb:

and how did you manage to power up the Cresselia so quickly? Doesn't it take 3 turns for it to use the extra prize attack?

I'm guessing he would pray to pull the Banette with QuickBall, and then evolve without using asenscion, and spend his first three energy on Cress.

u r wrong!!!!mew
my strategies are,
(1)use ascention 4 a quick set up of 2 banette!!
(2)set up banette in da grave using TVR!!!start atk ghost head!!
(3)set up cress 4 its power!start using phoebe's stadium 4 some free retreats!!
(4)charging 4 cress, u should hav collected at least 1 prizes!!
(5)plan ur strategy according to ur situation!!!

THE END...................:lol::lol:

lol wow, what an unusual deck
why not Gallade and Cresselia?
Gallade brings it down to 50 and Cresselia finished it off for 2-3 prizes :)
i thought of it at league too ^^

Gallade + Cresselia might work but you'd need some way to get the damaged pokemon active, afterall Sonic Blade makes them switch. While it may come to mind a strategy of "energize Cresselia until they make it active" that would never work because they just wouldn't make it active. Palkia LvX wouldn't work with two basic LvXs so Lickilicki for the win (or not). :(

I'd say the ideal combo with Cresselia is Absol ex. Together with full moon dance, you can move quite a few counters onto whatever is active and seriously suprise with an Absol ex drop and attack to draw the 2. Jolteon*, strength charm and such also spring to mind but it all starts being cluttered and vulnerable to fast, simple and consistent decks.

Cresselia isn't a bad card but I don't think it's brilliant.

Say that in the DP4 thread and I'll counter you...:thumb: just don't want to go off-topic!:

Anyway, I think it could work.Only problem is... Blissey and Magmortar and other 130 HP Pokemon. Then again... Cresselia's Power allows him to do 50... but only if one of your Pokemon has a damage Counter. Maybe Gardevoir PK? It allows you to search your deck for an Energy card and attach it to Cress AND puts 2 Damage Counters on 'er, which helps the power. Perhaps TSD/NM to get back the Cresselias and Shuppets. Idealy, you'll want Cress to get damaged as little as possible, so maybe Buffer Peice to reduce damage? I mean, then you'll heal with it's Power. You can add in a Weavile SW and Moonlight Stadium for Free Retreat, or Warp Point/Switch/Retreat.

The combination doesn't have any synergy with each other, excluding the fact that they are both psychic. Creccelia in itself requires 3 energies for a basic, which needs some form of energy acceleration to pull off as a tech. Banette is too fast, and focused to let a card like Cresselia in it. Decreases inconsistancy.

first, i hav to comment about cress+gallade,its not bad but too slow!!!
cress oledi 3 energy to charge,if we hav to focus to gallade more, then the deck will be easy to be defeated!!!
and secondly, i do put phoebe's stadium to make both banette and cress to a free retreat!!!
thirdly, its not 100% useless against psy-resistance!!
no.4, it is fast and useable against any deck especially those stage 2 deck!!
no 5, i olso included 4 ER2 and 3 TGM to make the deck more playable!!

There is no way this could stand up to Gardylade or Magmortar right now.
Gardy will either open absol and just rip your hand (Absol raids Ban for 70 with a Sp. Dark) or Furret and just out speed you. Magmortar would just run over your first Banette with a T2 total of 60 and then it's down hill.

I'm thinking this needs a starter. Like.... Absol.
Use Absol about 2 turns to stall, and then attack with Banette after Banette, and end late game with Cress.
