I have gotten bored with playing all those cards every one else plays like Gallade and Blissey. So, I'm being special.

Pokemon 16
4 Donphan
4 Phanpy
2 Burmy [Still debating over plant or sand cloak]
2 Mothrim
1 Wormadam [Same problem as Burmy]
2 Mr. Mime
1 SHUCKLE!!!!!! Totally awesome

Trainers 28
4 Celio's Network
2 Roseanne's Research
1 Holon Mentor
3 Prof. Oak's Visit
1 Prof. Rowan
2 Copycat
2 TGW
2 Castaway
1 Scott
2 Strength Charm
2 Pluspower
2 Warp Point
2 Phoebe's Stadium
2 Night Maintenance

Energy 16
3 DRE
3 Multi
7 Fighting
3 Grass

The strategy is to set up Donphans and Mr. Mimes and shuckle. Then rapid spin and switch for Shuckle or Mime. Mothrim is just a fun tech. That can up rapid spin damage, or set up the OHKO w/ Bash In. Im still trying to figure out which Burmy and Wormadam to play though Im leaning towards Plant Cloak.

Hello and welcome to Rapid Spin -users. I'm having Donphan-Mismagius deck at the moment, with Donphan as main attacker, and I get to say he does the job pretty well, so there are some pointers.

1. Donphan never OHKOs. I'd put this deck to spread-category any day.
2. Donphan almost as never get's KO'd. Your other pokémon propably will.
3. When your opponent gets 3 energy cards to his/her big Pokémon, it's easy to lose 2-3 prizes if you have no backup-attacker.

Garde/Lade is actually relatively good matchup, due the fact you aim to T2 Donphan to get Absol out of the way and Scrambles do nothing to Mime (and even less to Shuckle). I'm a bit concerned about Shuckle's 1 retreat, as you miss your energy attachment with that, and Shuckle is not much of an attacker, but I've always seen him as an emergency wall to catch your fully-loaded opponent off-guard.

Have you concidered Venomoth instead of Mothim? It's body goes by the flow of the deck, and you might even think about sending it in against something that doesn't do masses of damage/sacrificing for 20 extra damage to next turn.

Trainer line looks fine, in energies I might consider adding Scramble - you will get your KOs slightly later than direct hit decks, so focus on taking the big guy out and cripple through the rest after that.

As Blissey and Garde/Lade are tactically manageable, Magmortar still is nearly autoloss even without Burmy/Mothim weaknesses, as Rapid Spin does nothing to set up Mag-Typh lineup (Magmortar to bench, gets fire from Typhlosion(s), heals, other Magmortar drops your defending pokémon), and they can pick off your fully loaded Donphan with Lv. X. Any Techs for that? Mew*? Gyarados MT? Latilock?

I like the Wormadam/Mothim idea. I would personally go with the Sandy Cloak unless you want to splash a lot more grass energy in. Either way, swapping out POV for TVR would make Burmy's power more relevant early game. Some other fixes:

-1 DRE
-1 fighting
-1 Rowan
-1 Copycat
-2 Warp Point
+2 Great Ball
+4 ER2
-1 Donphan
+1 Scott
-1 Night Maintenance
-1 Strength Charm
+2 PlusPower

I'll play around with this. My main problem with the str8 Donphan/Mime is the lack of versatility.

@Dennis: I OHKO with Donphan quite a bit. DRE into Bash In FTKO is pretty common after you've been spinning for a while. It's also a pretty nice surprise. As for the Mag matchup, I'm thinking we could tech a couple Cess Crystals.

Cess is quite an advanced tech in this deck. You don't want to use it on Mime (only if you want to activate Scramble or something), you want to use it on Donphan but it spins away. If you got another Donphan to switch in for your opponent's turn, it sounds a bit better - still, there are bodies you usually want to use during your opponent's turn.

Yeps, Donphan might come to OHKO if your opponent is desperate enough to kill Mime with Cessation. It depends largely on your opponent - some play it safe. Another option is to sneak in a Lake Boundary to OHKO Blissey and those other F-weaks biggies, but generally you'll just keep spinning and sweep the weakened foes after that.

Wormadam sandy is a neat thing, as Donphan rolls well with 2 energy most of the game - extra energy should go to get ready to take a big man down with some hard-hitting Tech.

I must say, Mothim = :thumb: I tried out the Leaf Cloak with 4 grass no multi and it worked pretty well.

Cess and Mothim works really well. And generally you don't want to play it unless you're up against Magmortar to shut off Delcatty and Typhlo. On top of that, Silver Wind turns Mothim OR Donphan into a next turn OHKO, depending on the situation. Then again, I have a tech Battle Frontier which should help that MU as well.
