Hi everyone. My favorite game right now is Pokemon Diamond. I have Torterra and he is on level 61 but sometimes he disobeys me!!!! I have tons Pachirsrsrus. Can you trade me a Pikachu? I just have 2 of them and they are hard to train!!!! :rolleyes: So can you offer any good advice for rasing a Pikachu? Also I need help with the 8th gym battle. How do I beat Volknor? My torterra uses earthquake and should I switch it out with Dialaga? Please post your feelings about Pokemon Diamond and I can be your friend!!! Pika, Pika Pika, Pikachu!!! That is my saying Thanks!!! Who is your favorite Pokemon? You already know mine and that is Pikachu!!!!!!
 
Fighting and Ground types are the key to beating Volkner. Have you gotten the Riolu Egg in the game yet? You should consider raising a Lucario. Lucario was my biggest help in diamond when I fought Volkner, and Dialga is really good against him as well. Start raising other things until you beat Volkner, or Torterra is going to keep disobeying you.

Seeing your new here, welcome to the gym. Yes it is a great game, and my favorite pokemon is probably Blaziken. I could trade you a pikachu, but you could get one the at the GTS for a custom level (if you have Wi-Fi) and gender and all that, or you could just obviously locate one on your Pokedex. Good advice for training Pikachu? Well if you want him/her to like you, do stuff like give it vitamins, earn it ribbons in constest, and battle with it. Spending time with your pokemon is crucial in getting it to like you, obviously. You'll wanna get like some good ground-types for fighting Volkner. Or atleast good ground moves. If your Torterra will not obey you, its best to get another pokemon that will obey you to learn Earthquake or other ground type moves. Dialga could probably learn Earthquake, and I don't know for certain, but you could probably by an Earthquake TM at the Veilstone Super Pokemart. Good luck with your gym battle!:thumb:
 
If you're able to complete Pokemon Battle Revolution on the Wii, you'll get a Pikachu who knows Surf - fun.

Golem and Gastrodon are fun Pokemon for beating Electric-types. (Graveler and Golem get Earthquake at level 33!)
 
I love Pokemon Diamond too! It's sooooo fun! But my favourite game is Mario Galaxy. Anyway, my favourite Pokemon is Mewtwo. No, it's not because it's so good (I have one Fire Red, and it OWNS!), or else Arceus would be my favourite (as my username and avatar would seem to say), no, Arceus is my second. IDK why I like Mewtwo, I just do...
Now, advice on beating Volkner: I think what I did was just use my Dialga, as my Grotle JUST Evolved (I was trainig Staraptor, my favourite non-Legendary Pokemon in Diamond or Pearl), and was at like Lv. 36 or 37... anyway, my Dialga was like Lv.49 or something, and I just destroyed him... IDK how... I think I used Earth Power alot and OHKOed or 2HKOed all his Pokemon... it's been so long since that happened, my memories are vague... but I remember most of the E4, so if you need help on them, PM me!
Now, how to raise a Pikachu: I don't have one in Diamond, but it can't be as hard as raising an Arceus. Anyway, just battle with it tons, also trading it and then getting it back boosts EXP gained, so that makes Leveling up alot easier. The E4 is also a great way to earn EXP, but I take it you haven't beaten them yet, as you are still on Volkner (or are you...). If it is at a really low level, just attach an EXP Share to it, start with it, then bring out your best Pokemon to pwn them. I do this when I want to raise a Pokemon quickly, and, hey, it works for me!
 
Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness rocks, although I'm a bit biased for getting my Helping hand Dusknoir and Morning Sun Tangrowth from it. (Evolved in Pearl from their purified forms, of course.)
 
I must say, in Diamond, they made getting the bike make alot more sense. Like in Emerald, he gives away an expensive bike for nothing? And even allows the player to switch anytime? Lol I find that a little hard to swallow, personally.

Consider the bike an endorsement to an up-and-coming challenger. The Champion rides this store's bikes, and you can too, for the low, low cost of... :biggrin:
 
Maybe there's a secret tax of 1% of your earnings, to cover the cost of new tires and repairs. I find it hard to believe that my tires are still good after 100,000 steps or more. And all those jumps! Can't be good for the frame. And who's going to notice 1%?

This is a nice peaceful discussion about our favorite elements in the game. If you think its stupid, then buzz off, no one is forcing you to post here.

My favorite pokemon is Metagross. He has a giant X on his face ^_^
