OK,Ive been playing Banette mostly all CCs(played E-Gon first, but didnt think it would do good against Gardylade)Ok so with Banette I have done the following:

1st CC: 3-2(Loss Blissey/Loss Gastordon) 7th
2nd CC:4-1(Loss Gardylade/Loss Gardylade in Finals) 3rd
3rd CC:3-2(Loss Str8 Bliss/Loss Magmortar/Loss Magmortar in Finals) 4th

I love using this deck cuz of its speed and the consitant damage it can do,so Ive been working on a list that can adjust to any matchup you may face and the list is still a work in a progress.

Ok so I call this deck Quahog.dec? Why?cuz if you go to the tourneys Im at,Im Peter Griffin there and I gotta name it after the town on the show.Ok so here is the list:

Pokemon: 16

4-4 Banette SW(Shuppet CG)
2 Solrock GE
2 Lunatone GE
1 Minun
1 Latios δ Ex
1 Latias δ
1 Rayquaza δ Ex

Trainers:27

3 Quick Ball
3 Pokenav
3 Pokedex Handy 910
1 Pluspower
1 Castaway
2 Cessation Crystal
1 S.Charm
3 Warp Point
1 Night Maintenance
1 Scott
1 Lake Boundary
2 Crystal Beach
1 Moonlight Stadium
2 Holon Mentor
2 Professor Birch

Energy: 13

7 Psychic
1 Fighting
4 Multi
1 Delta Rainbow

Stradegy: Of course it to setup a T2 Banette, youir thinking with the other pokes its not likely, well either you start of with Solrock/Lunatone/Shuppet. Solrock/Lunatone is nice against Absol/Stantler/Furret/Pari since they are weak and can be Koed by T3. Solrock/Lunatone can help you discard Banettes from your hand and get through those Psy and Fighting Resistance. Nice against Darkrai and Honchkrow.

Latios/Latias is for Magmortar/DWD,Latios has actually helped me in the Magmortar matchup,I know it can get sniped for 2 easy prizes, but when its attacking thats fine since it will do 60-120 of damage if powered up early game. Also with that they dont get a heal from the body.HELPS ALOT. Also DWD cant function without the body and u can steam roll Murkrows.

Minun is for recovery when your hand is low which is needed since Banettes hit the grave fast and often.Ray is for the DWD and Sniping option I find myself needed sometimes, 1 NRG for 30-50 isnt bad.

Matchups:

Blissey Varients : Only really hard matchup is the Str8 Blissey one, since it gets through your resistance, and has WP or Unown G to guard against Ghost Head. Sableye techs hurt alot too if you can get a T1 Ascension which gives the deck speed.

50/50 Straight Bliss-Blisscatty 60-40-Bliss Banette 60-40 Blisscurio 70-30

Gardylade 60-40: Solrock/Lunatone take care of any starters they have, and Banette can OHKO anything with Lake Boundary. Them shutting down powers dosent hurt bad at all since when you OHKO back with Banette, they usally bring up Gallade for a Ko and u can OHKO back. Speed is key to winning.

Magmortar 40-60: Early healing hurts your chances of Koing back when they Ko something which gives them turn and prize advantage. Early and quick Kos can win the game if you can lock in place a Crystal Beach since Scrambles give them the comeback. Lv.X is the biggest threat since it can snipe and Ko Latios or 10 Hp left for Quaza which only is used if in dire need.Hard matchup indeed but possible.

Dark Wing Duck 60-40: Yea ure thinking weak, but Lati-Lock kills their deck and Rayquaza steam rolls through Honchkrow if your behind since it can OHKO it when u play Lake Boundary. Even with Absol starts,Lunatone/Solrock can kill Absol by T3 which helps and less they focus more on Krow. LvX is the biggest threat but Quaza can kill it pretty easly.

Ok so please give me your fixes and suggestions since Im thinking of playing it for States in GA.

use pheobe's over moonlight, i wouldn't mind seeing another lake boundary , latios ex d can do 120 to mag, it won a game against my magmorter deck, i had board control and was about to take 5 prizes (it was a flygon ex d deck) in one turn, i had played for several turns making decisions based on what i knew his damage output could be and that i would take my prizes before he took his last prize, but lake boundary pretty much took out my magmorter in one hit, winning the game, i've always had sour grapes about that match because i was losing so badly but through strategy i was able to lock in a victory, i was sure i was going to win, but i didn't expect the lake boundary so i let the latios live because, i had calculated that it couldn't knock out my mag, it was just such a bad misplay since i could have easily sniped it out early on it just seemed like less of a threat than a 150 hp flygon, it was embarassing that i didn't expect lake boundary because what else would make flygon ex d playable in this new format?

it's just a good suprise card since it gives you like 5 pluspowers against gallade as well

i think you have to many techs in here i would take out:
1 munun
1-1 lunasol
1 rayquaza ex

add in:
1 night maintenance
1 castaway
2 buffer piece

buffer peice is pretty much pointless except to lock in cessation, mag x kills it anyway,

minun is pretty important, and has been in any bannette list i've ever seen

ray d is just good with bannette because you always get to use rage aura or whatevah, sniping is always good and water decks are going to go up like 15% by states

I like the deck. Just a couple questions?

What is your strategy regarding the energy count? I cant see how you can get the Latios-ex d powered up in time to do any good?

Without Celio how do you guarentee a T2 Bannette? I know you have Quick Ball but that is iffy when you are running all these other Pokes. Quick Ball is not a guarentee like Celio's is.

Also I would go Roseannes over Mentor just so you can get the Psychic energies whenever you need to.

Its easy if its early game since Solrock can accel NRG and u can put one one shuppet and latios which isnt hard at all. I get T2 Banette by ASCENSION. 4/7 times I get shuppet,2 Latios which hs free retreat or can start attacking by T3 and 1 Solrock which isnt a bad starter if going second from discarding with Lunatone.

Also the draw form Lunatone/Minun adds up when Banette is ghost heading or gets Koed, recover is what keeps me with cards.

nice man, LunaSol is the perfect addition to banette.. you can discard banette with Gravity Change now, thats very nice.. Im gonna test this deck with your list today at league :p adding 1 pachirisu and rosseane would be nice, you can Rosseane for a Pachi and energy then retreat and attack with Pachy against Unown G, or other tools.

^I won a cities with it and I think it is a really good deck but others think it's inconsistent so it depends who you talk to

This deck looks fairly familiar with the deck that Madhatter created. I think Banette just lost its thunder that it really didn't have to begin with.
