Good Packaging can add value. Good packaging can have intrinsic value.

The tins (even empty) are popular items at league. Whereas the paper and plastic packaging of the three booster blisters is not.

Personally I'd like to see more variety in the shape and size of the tins. Handles, hinges, single deck, pair of decks, deck and counters. I'd be happy to see the blisters go away forever. In my albeit limited local experience (outside the USA) the blisters are not seen as high value items.

I love that idea! We use our tins but a different size/shape/purpose would be wonderful. I still see kids using the older tall deck box style ones with Kyogre, etc. for decks.

I use them for storing cards, and as a deck box. They work great for a deck box because you have room for your deck, dice, piece of paper, pen, burn/poison markers, good luck charm, and other small stuff. When used as deck boxes they are also harder to lose than a smaller one.

Mine just end up being a Holder for Change. (have 3 full of Pennies, Dimes, Nickal, and Quarters)

I they are made of Aluminum, you can recycle them for a bit of profit.
 
This was on the beach like forever ago that they were coming out on the 27th

I was going to buy 2 darkrai tins today ( my store owner usually gets them a day ahead) but I bought 6 packs from an un oppened box ...Cresselia LV.X baby yah + 2 blazikens and a rotom and an unown h

so I guess not buying the tins today was actually really good
 
I'l be picking up at least one of each. I collect the tins because they are nice storage for various little things, and they look nice too. I keep a couple of them in my bathroom at school with some stuff stored in them. A nice little sink caddy!
 
The tins already got here (Argentina LOL), thay had them on the stands, not sure if they where for sell already. But they sell them fos u$s40, talk about inflacion....

My daughter loves Palkia and Dialga, so I thought I'd surprise her with a tin of each today. This was exciting enough, but she about freaked when we pulled two Time Space Distortion cards from the packs. (There was one in each tin.)
 
Two TSDs? Have you just pulled the whole USA supply ? I should have tins tomorrow. I'll post the UK pack mix if it is different.
 
Sounds like the time when I bought 3 tins of the MT lv.X's and 2 of them came with another MT lv.X in them. They were WELL worth their cost.
 
i feel soooo good after buying a set of tins lv.x cause i dont feel lile buying tins since its not worth my $75 but it still worth my $35 :)

Ipicked up a Palkia And Darkrai one today. They come with 1 GE booster,2 SW, and 1 MT. Darkrai came out of the tin looking almost completly mint, but Palkia had bad bumps where it was held in place by the plastic. Watch out when buying these.
 
Not the bumps again. Geez. looks like PUSA is going to be getting some of mine back for replacements if that's the case.
 
Palkia tin bought today. Gardy lvl X and Electivire lvl X in 2 of the packs. 3 lvl X's for $15--not bad at all!
 
I actually went to the stores yesterday and they had them available....they always seem to release the stuff a day or 2 early around theses parts. When I saw them, I pretty much brought them all, may have left 1 or 2 tins behind but all the darkrai ones were gone for sure. They still have Lucario if anyone is interested...lol

I got some good cards, a couple of extra gallade, porygon z, darkrai holo, blazikens, magmortar reverse holo, and a Gardy lvl X.

Not sure all the stores will have access to the tins, big cities might find it hard to get a hold of but I guess we will find out this weekend...
