I Just got off the Phone with the hilton to get some info, and they said that there are rooms set up for the special rate for worlds 08'.

the rate is $129 a night and require 1 night+tax deposit up front.

they told me that there are only a few rooms left available, but more may open up later when POP announces it.

I was disappointed that this wasn't release on the POP site first. I was also a bit frustrated about the Worlds Rate only be available from Friday the 15th on. I wanted to come in on Wensday 13th, but if I did that I couldnt get a room with 2 Beds, but if I booked on Wensday or Thursday there were no 2 Bed Rooms Available, so I had to book on Tuesday.

Edit - Seems, I was charged the Pokemon Rate for all nights even thought they said that they didnt have it for all the nights. Interesting. :biggrin:

To let anyone else know they still have open rooms, but they are only able to fit three people max. They WILL NOT put anymore, and will only give a two rooms for 129 each room per noght.

So, if you are traveling with a family of 4 or something like that they have a junior suite for 230 a night.

Hope this helps some of you.
 
i'll wait for a while till nats, then i'll have sure if i'll go by my own (dad's) pocket or no (winning nats again, i hope)
 
I'm glad that I live in Orlando, so I don't have to worry about paying for a hotel room on a college budget. It's not like I'll probably being going to World's anyway. The only I'll be making it into World's is if I do well at Last Chance Qualifier's.

I imagine its going to be a great experiance though for all those that go, and hopefully the Florida weather is nice.
 
You can still be on site, play in the LCQ, Pres, all the OTHER stuff going on at Worlds that weekend!
