Start with furret, and get your swalot out as fast as humanly possible, preferably with a holon Energy attached to it. As you go along add wigglytuff to your bench if possible. She is the second biggest priority. Most turns you will be picking and choosing confused and poisoned, and having wigglytuff put the defending pokemon to sleep. For the most part they're completely crippled unless they get lucky twice in a row, and both wake up and succeed in their attack. From then on its just a matter of repeating this process while disrupting the oppenents hand with the galatic combination.

Espeon Star and SSU drops are for extra damage on demand. Weezing is for additional luxary and not necessary. A single turn of pick+choose with wigglytuff inflicts 3 different status conditions which puts swalots damage to 110, and the defending pokemon in a bit of an odd spot. Xatu tech's only remove one status condition a turn, sleeping and confusion can both be brought back on the very next turn while poisong will have already done 10 damage, and a single plus power or weezing brings it back up to its wonderful 130 bench mark damage.

Yay for status condition decks :D

Yes I was bored. Critiques?

sorry to put a damper on your plan but I think that you cannot have a pokemon asleep and confused at the same time, one cancels out the other. A pokemon can be affected by at most 3 special conditions, poison + burn + (asleep or paralysis or confusion). You may want to double check the rule book on this but I don't see how your pokemon can be turned to the right, left, and upside down all at the same time. I have been thinking of something like this since GE came out and the following pokemon help Swalot a lot.

Wigglytuff GE for sleep (you already got that one)
Muk SW for poison (only works if opponent has grass energy attached, multi/DRE work too)
Cacturne PK for poison (only works if you have Sydney's Stadium in play)
Flareon Star PK for burn (both active get burned and only works when it is placed from your hand to the bench)

With these pokemon it is possible to do the 110 damage without having to use a turn doing pick and choose.

Good luck with your deck.

why not just run:

4-4 Swalot
3-2-3 Venasaur (SW)
4 (any starter you like)

Sure venasaur is flippy but it stops you from using pick and choose and allows you to just use the second attack (i forget the name)

I was thinking about a way to get around pick and choose from the very begining but I don't know many cards that could do it. Venasaurs line is just takes up too much room for something based on chance.

came as such a blessing. :D

I kinda zoned out on the no confusion+sleep at the same time rule, thankfully flareon easly replaces it while adding another (legit) status. Horray.

So new yet almost exactly the same strat?
Getting poison and sleep out were the main priorities, and I felt 130 was the damage to get to, so I could 1hit most threats.

Chemical reaction with sleep and poison totals up to do 100 after the poison kicks in. This means weezing becomes necessary to hit 110 bench mark for things like gardevoir or magmortar for the additonal poison damage, and a flareon drop is necessary for the 130hp monsters like gallade and blissey.

cacturn seems like the best choice for additions ( I dont trust muk's power) especially since furret can pick out two cards at once.
it would first get out jiggly and Holon GL, then it would get wiggly and cacnea. It would follow up with Sidney and cacturn, then finally koffing and weezing. I was wondering how to get holon GL without wasting a turn, but since sydney is required for cacturn, I no longer have that problem.

Some may say furret won't last that long, and I agree with them. But thats why we have supporter cards. to search for some of the cards while its doing its work.

So I'm thinking
-1 Night maintenance
-2 Time-Space Distortion
-1 Sentret
-4 PlusPower
-1 Espeon Star

+2 Cacnea
+2 Cacturn
+2 Sidney
+1 Koffing
+1 Weezing
+1 Flareon Star
Any better now?
