If Regirock Regiice and Registeel are legendaries, how come the 7th frontier brain at the Battle Pyramid has all 3?

He went and caught them with his adventuring skills. Or they aren't the same ones. I remember an episode where Moltres is teh flame of a pokéolympics or something and it's not the same Moltres. In-game is pretty separate to the animé.

Theirs more then 1, simple as that. You will see a number of the same legendary pokemon, although I believe theirs only 1 Mewtwo and thats because it was a clone of Mew.

1 Mew, 1 Mewtwo, 1 Arceus, 1 Kyogre, 1 Groudon, 1 Ho-oh, 1 Dialga, 1 Palkia, 1 Giratina, 1 Darkrai.

Why does anyone ever try to hold Pokémon to any level of consistency at all? Shouldn't you all know better by now?

1 Mew, 1 Mewtwo, 1 Arceus, 1 Kyogre, 1 Groudon, 1 Kyogre, 1 Ho-oh, 1 Dialga, 1 Palkia, 1 Giratina, 1 Darkrai.

There are 2 Kyogre on that list..............

technically, the ONLY Pokemon that there has been difined as one of a kind are Mewtwo, Arceus, Diagla, and Palkia.

Alls others are never confirmed as being the only ones

*pops in*
There are many of every pokémon
(other than Mew, Mewtwo, and Arceus)

I believe the Dialga in Movie 11 is a different one then in Movie 10.
Dialga/Palkia are like Kyogre/Grodon which are parallel to Ho-Oh/Lugia
(and there are MANY Ho-Oh)
you just are also forgetting about the shiny versions.

Hasn't every Legendary been in an Episode and been in a Movie, aside from the ones they haven't done yet? The movies are almost seperate from the TV series, as they never really tie into the TV story line. And as Marrill mentioned, they can have as many as they want. I don't recall ever reading that they can't have more than one, nore have they ever said they can't breed/evolve.

There will be more than one of Arceus if the writers want there to be for whatever reason (let alone things there are supposedly only one of, such as Dialga/Palkia). Anyone who thinks there are ever only going to be a single one of each is deluding themselves.

The whole Frontier-Brain-with-an-Articuno pretty much invalidates the entire second movie, where the wording was (and I don't care about how the 4Kids dub worded it), "do not catch a god of fire, a god of thunder, or a god of ice." Note the use of the article "a". Consistency is not the writers' goal in making the series. Pandering to fanboys too young to care is the goal.

I'd say either Marril is right, and the writers just make as many Legendaries as they need to to fit plot purposes, or, the more likely case if the quality of the past god knows how many seasons are any evidence, they're just freaking idiots and it didn't even occur to them to check and see if they're re-using the Pokemon that is supposed to be one-of-a-kind. I swear to the gods by Movie 15 we'll have a brand new Mewtwo who completely disregards the whole "one-of-a-kind clone" thing just because the writers wanted him in there.
