Will there be an unlimited event next week at Sakura Con?
How about a modified constructed/ or draft/sealed/ whatever.

Did you have to ask?... Yes for the 4th year in a row there will be Pokemon at Sakura-con

Actual Times for the two Pokemon TCG Tournaments

There will be two Pokemon TCG Tournaments at Sakura-Con this year:

Unlimited Tournament - FREE!

Registration at 8:30 A.M., tournament starts at 9:00 A.M.
A unique participation gift will be handed out to each registered player*

For anyone interested in playing this event, I highly recommend getting your Sakura-Con badge on Friday (Thursday if you pre-registered) otherwise you will probably be standing in line while the tournament is going on.

Sealed Booster Event - $20

Registration at 11:30 A.M., tournament will start around 12:00 P.M.
A unique participation gift will be handed out to each registered player*

*Participation gifts were not sponsored by PUI, POP or Nintendo... because I forgot to ask. But, they are cool. :thumb:

Yes I had to ask :(~ I always plan to go to Sakura Con
But stuff Always pops up! Usually because there is an Anime Convention here one week before.

I call it the Anime Convention in Houston one week before Sakura Con..

there is never a thread about these tournaments so I'll make one :D..
I'll post this same thread next year again if it isn't posted >=O.

Is there Friday Night Magic (Sanctioned) Friday night? probably wrong place to ask.

So long as JandPDS and I attend Sakura-Con and are active Tournament Organizers, there will probably be at least one TCG tournament.

There will be a special participation prize for everyone who attends one of the Pokemon Tourneys a Sakura-con. They are estimating the attendance this year at 15,000 so if you do not have a badge yet get in line as early as you can on Friday.

homeofmew it is too bad you cannot make it this year, hopefully next year you will be able to attend Sakura-con. It is truly an amazing weekend of anime and Japaneese culture. (and yes there are Magic Tournaments each year as well as many other Trading and Miniature gaming events) As my wife stated sakuracon.org has all the info for this and future cons.
Also if you will be attending worlds this year we can bring a few of our Sakura-con participation prizes for you if you would like, so you can have a souvenir from this years con.

heehee i was there, it was awesome. Those are my favorite Dice now, i just have to hope they preform well at regionals >.<
 
It's an anime convention, duh.

Sakura means cherry blossom, we have a bunch of them here in Seattle and they bloom in the spring, which is why the convention takes place in the spring.
