Electrode can really level the game by taking out large threats early. It also gives an energy for Houndoom to discard to it's second attack. Houndoom is fast and powerful, so the game should be over quickly. Any thoughts on this?

Changes:
1st change: Out, 4x Darkness Energy (Special). In, 4x Darkness Energy (Basic)

You also might want to do something with the special dark energy.
You can't find them with Roseanne's for since they are not basic.

I was considering Pachirisu, but I guess I assumed that it would slow the deck down (I want to be attacking turn 2 with something). Though I suppose that the disruption provided by it's second attack might come in handy. As for Claydol, I doubt that anyone I can trade with directly is going to want to give any of those up. If anyone here wanted to sell me some for a reasonable price I could include them. I hate to take out any Electrode since it has proven to be so wonderfully disruptive in other decks (It's the closest thing I have found to the spot removal I so greatly enjoy in the Magic tcg). I guess that my only option is to playtest, playtest, playtest! I hope to take SOME version of this deck to Regionals next week. Do you think it's fast enough to out-race the top tier strategies of today?

Cess Crystal!!!!
Once you're attacking with houndoom, locking their powers and discarding their hand can cause some serious disruption!!!!

take out some energy and 2 rare candy (16 is plenty and you also have electrode to power up pokemon) and add in 2 castaway and 2 cessation crystal to kill decks that have power and no more pokemon are needed

I think you'll need to replace the special dark energies with basics. The extra 10 damage is great but if you have a multi and special dark (or electrode) attached the multi will become worthless.

The Multi's, along with the double rainbows, are what make this deck work. Just a thought.

+4 er2, or add in a few counterstradiums/windstorm, and add in a cessation or two.

Also, don't you feel the need for pluspowers? It's nice to use electrode with a PP or 2 to knock out a gardevoir or magmortar (90/100+10/20 from PP=110 on mortar)
