Okay this is the deck I have played during this season on every tournament I have participated (not counting Turku's SC) and it works quite well and this relies on your topdecking skill and a little on your dice hand and yeah this is one of the most unexpected ideas so here's the list:

Strategy is to start with either Meditite or Piplup and as quickly as possible evolve them and start spreading or enslave opponent's possible starter with Medicham the idea is to spread damage so that you are able to take 2 pokemon with one hit when attacking with Empoleon.

Medicham)One of the best Mario counters that hasn't seen the light yet his upper attack allows him to put damage counters on 1 of your opponent's pokemon as much as Medicham has taken damage

Empoleon)All he does is snipe and quite good at it and if you have a good dice hand you can take down 2 pokemon at once

Claydoll)Not so important part of setup but he is needed so that I can draw some supporters with his and comboes with Steven.

Is that the medichan that is it has any psychic energy it counts as psychic type too? If so that could be a counter against GG. Mario isnt played much any more.. Any way your trainer line is pretty messy, take out a copy cat 1 strength charm 1 buffer peace, and 2 battle frontier. (you own mag any way with weakness.) for another 1-1 claydol 1 night maintanence and 1 more TGW.. Claydol is the most important part of your set up, if you can always get him out first. But theres probaly something that goes better with empoleon then medicham. Why not just run lucarioemoleon?

Nope its the Medicham that does 80 and 20 to himself battle frontiers shut up DWD and also Delcattys and to be honest Lucario is quite crappy compared to Medicham since Lucario doesn't do so much damage.And I can guarantee you that with the right hands playing this can overcome even GG..

If I dont play Scott tell me how Im supposed to get my stadiums when I need them and I can tell you that Buffer Piece is good as a single tech and also I can't use any of my 2 powers in this deck if would play cessations and lastly 1 Castaway is enough if i need to get some energies and a strenght charm.

well if you have single techs of tools then 2-3 castaway would be best and cessation crystal helps kill decks using a lot of power's which most decks do

...Scott's rarely ever needed... my deck only has one due to a lack of other viable options and you seem to have a few...

I recommend you to test this because Scott is more than a fat-butted guy that gets some gym's outta my deck it also get's the supporters and it also plays well with castaway and also you can get out the disrupting Crystal Beach that totally ruins the game if you cant get it out of the way fast.And atleast in the games ive played it actually has gotten me out of trouble when he comes from topdeck.

I don't think you'll need to increase power by ten so often...

Actually I have needed it since Medicham does increase the damage if give him the little extra kick but he has also killed many pokemon just because of this powerboost and it also makes the prinplup first attack that spreads better since it increases the damage that the opponent's active pokemon takes so you can try to take with him a few prize cards with one attack.

Sry for disagreing with everyone but actually I have almost every single time gotten it with topdecking it at with my other supporters(exluding celio and roseanne)..But I also want to say that I don't want my powerboost ending in prize cards since you're right that you can get it into your hand with castaway but do you want waste your supporter for powerboost or would rather try topdecking it with steven since it seems that Im the only one atm that is playing with this deck and I also may want to say that when you trust your instincts then you can draw it.
