Laptop if you want to go on internet.
Buy Lots of water bottles when you get there for hotel room because prices there too expensive.

Will edit later if i think of something.

A caffinated drink (coke or other soft drink is good).

This is a LONG tourney, that will go all day, so you will be tired by the end. Trust me, after 9 rounds of swiss you be very tired and you will make the dumbest misplayes ever.

Coke FTW!!! (just don't drink so much that your up all night and miss out on Sunday because you didn't get any sleep.)

Gum. Brushing your teeth in the morning doesn't work all day. Having a few pieces of gum helps keep smelly breath at bay!

I'm surprised none of you mentioned a camera. This is a memorable event, why not capture it in photos?

A mini first aid kit with Band-Aids, gauze pads, aspirin, antibiotic ointment, etc. might come in handy.

Cologne/perfume, if you want. Don't overdo it, though.

For men: Disposable razor, shaving cream, and aftershave.

For women/older girls: The usual feminine hygiene supplies.

Paperback novels or other interesting books to help pass the time if you don't have a GBA/DS.

(I'm not going to Nats (in all likelihood), but I'm always glad to be of assistance to those who are.)

I dont know, first off, I am not sure if there enough time to read, and I dont know how much the "razor" part is important. Most people can deal with not shaving for 5-6 days.

This list is a decent post people.

Good ideas.

If it goes off topic again, we will delete the entire topic.

Keep it on the level guys.

A few more suggestions:

A crossword puzzle, sudoku, or word search book to keep oneself occupied between rounds.

Trail mix, Power Bars, or some other quasi-healthy snack to nosh on in between rounds. Nothing with too much sugar in it.

A favorite stuffed toy, piece of costume jewelry, or other good-luck charm.

Change for vending machines.

(I think we may have covered just about everything.)

I like to bring a poster tube so I can put any posters I get in it and they don't get all bent up.
