Fakes on eBay

So far, I've never gotten one, but I have heard stories of people buying cards off eBay, and receiving fakes. I wanna buy a Mag lv x, but just kinda paranoid. How do you tell if an eBay seller is legit and won't rip me off?

Look at their feedback, see how many cards they sell.
If they don't sell many cards, and their feedback isn't so hot, just AVOID.
Usually though, if they're a powerseller, and no comments on their feedback mention fakes, you're safe.

Look for people who have high feedback ratings, and seem to specialize in pokemon cards. We're the ones who have the real deal cards.

I would suggest, looking for people on Pokegym, who are also ebay sellers, if your worried about it. Most of us ebay sellers, have links in our signature. I would suggest that, that would be the way to go. I have a link in mine, as do a few of the people who have already posted. There are quite a few people on here that sell on ebay, so I would suggest one of them would be a good choice, if they have good feedback of course.

It is easy to tell when someone is selling fakes fake. Look at their low feedback (fake dealers tend to have less than 30 feedback) and look at the other things they've sold. If you see a postive comment like "ohh, my son just loves them! A+++++++++" well you know it was an an educated parent buying cards, and they never noticed they were fake. That is what I would find in most of their feedback.

Oh, and if you see any non holo mag X (which I have seen on multiple times), then it is fake :lol:

But there are lots of trustable sources out there, and SO many are.
