a mere draw two card with no additional benefits? am i missing something or will this challenge rival for the title of 'worst supporter in the game'?
 
i like it myself, true, you could draw up too 4 but with DRAWBACKS! the only other Supporter that is better than this (IMO, i would much rather just draw 2 card than up too 4 with drawbacks) is TGM, which is 2 with a benefit.

Don't get me wrong, other decks utilize the other draw supporters very well, but i think this card is better than it is getting credit for

mama's concern looks a bit better given the lack of draw supporters that we might see early next rotation. (DPon is speculation on my part) I try to build all my decks with 8 or 9 draw cards: Oaks' Visit looks like it is going to be a staple as I'm never too happy about relying upon pokePOWERS to provide draw. But what the other 4 draw cards will be I don't know.

Who'd have ever thought that we'd see Bill return as a supporter?
 
imo mars is worse in this format, it will be different at battle roads but noone wants gardy to telepass their mars, so this would be better, but island hermit is a much better safeguard against gardy anyway so there's not much going for Mama's Concern
 
What next? A supporter to draw a single card?

Seriously, if this was a standard trainer card it would be only slightly better than pokédex handy910is. And I see that on considerably few decklists (and even less to be with Kabutops making it dead draw).

It's like they asked a 5-year old to design the supporters. No wait, that's not a nice thing to say as it offends 5-year olds. This literally couldn't have any less creativity.

So, here's some potential supporters cards I designed in like a second:


Team Galactic's Saturn

Supporter Rule

Look at your opponent's hand and select an energy card you find there. Your opponent shuffles that card back into his/her deck.


Pokémon Ranger

Supporter Rule

Discard a pokémon card from your hand to search for up to 2 pokémon (excluding Level X) from your deck and add them to your hand.


Riley

Supporter Rule

Choose up to 4 pokémon from your discard pile and shuffle them into your deck.


Simple and creative.....
 
Hmm, good for you. But i really think this card will be played, i know i will be playing it because a 2 card draw isn't bad at all. Sure you don't get any benefit's, but there are no drawbacks either

Yeah, I agree. Telepass is bad enough, after you play Mars, it'll be hard on you.

I almost forgot about this, but we should be getting Buck's Training and Cynthia's Plan in our DP6. Buck's is basically this + Pluspower (only while it's in play), and Cynthia's is shuffle draw 4 or 8 if they KO'd you last turn. Those are both GREAT choices for both str8 draw and shuffle draw, so I think we're good DP-on.

Reprinting Bill as a supporter would completely suck for Bill. It also changes the way Bill is played. Here Comes Team Rocket was really a card you only played once per game so making that a supporter really didn't so anything to change it. Bill was a card that you could use multiple times in a turn, so making it once per turn completely changes it.
