Since Lia is keeping track of the Nationals invite winners, I thought I'd keep a list of the Ranking Invites winners in Europe, the way I did last year. It's gonna be less exciting I think, but that's hopefully a good thing for many players' nerves ;)

I'll list the 20 players for each age group that will receive a ranking invite according to my information, and mark the players whose invite will pass down with a *. These are players who either have invites from Worlds 2007 or Nationals 2008. If you have any corrections, please let me know!

These rankings ought to be final, as all tournaments have been uploaded and updated. Yet sometimes small changes in rankings can occur for whatever reason, so if you spot any errors, please let me know!

Wait a minute... does that mean that Ranking invitations are fixed BEFORE the UK have their Nationals??? That's outrageous.

No no, what I meant was.... UK Nationals are June 7th... are the Rankings invitations finalised on June 6th? Rankings will definitely change post UK Nationals... That's what I understood from the original post... c.f. Countdown to June 6th

Well I think the final rankings (and invites) will be AFTER the UK nationals.
Nationals should have been done by the end of May, but the UK changed the date.

I think around june 10 we will know (if the UK of course gets tagged and uploaded on time)

The UK Event will be uploaded on time and yes will be flagged in time.

In regards to Ranking qualification, I would say would be finalised after the last Nationals takes place so after ours on June 7th.
 
After Nationals european contry will have no premier battle road event.
So, after 3rd of may, for example, no Italian would be able to get points from Italian Battle Road.

I think so. But do you get an invite to if you win the Nationals?
I am fairly new to the pop-scene, so could anyone please explain?

If you win Nats you get an invite, AND a paid trip lol. (plane + hotel)
If you are already in T20, number 21 will get your invite that you would have gotten from rankings and so on.

Sorry, it should've been June 7th, not 6th ;) I was away last week, but I'll update the rankings daily now. Sweden Nationals are already uploaded, but the Italian Nationals aren't uploaded yet. I couldn't even find the tournament in the locator, but as soon as it's on the OP website, I'll update this =)
