Ok, so I have been playing Pokemon Blue over again and I have been finding that whne I was little I used to think there was a mew behind the truck by the S.S.Ann.I always saww the keys at the Rocket Game Cornor and wanted to get them. I learned ofo the trick from school and spent most of my time for about half a year trying to get them!I always wondered what the truck was for or ment.
Does anyone know now a days?
The keys or whats behind Bill's house!
Nintendo just likes to mess with our heads.
Like for most the boat leaves after you get CUT, since you don't have surf yet so you can not get to it.
If you faint all your Pokemon in battle it stays then you get surf and go back and it there....

are you referring to the truck in the ss anne area? it's useless in the originals, but there's a Lava Cookie there after you get the national dex in FR/LG (or so I've heard...)

I fell for it when i was little.
I keep say give me Mew already!
I should draw a pic about it.
Like Red leaning up against it mumbling about a lie and about there being no Mew and there be like 3 mews looksing out fromt he truck....

ive seen a pic just like that on the internet, actually. i have it somewhere in my files.

we all fell for it. that was a time when gamers were so much more naieve. it was great

Trust me. Pokémon players are still just as naive as before. The only difference is that they've gone from believing flat-up lies to sugar-coated lies.

I remember the one rumor where Dragonite could turn into Yoshi or whatever...that was funny. Glitch City is real at least.

true, but the real difference back then is anything conceivable could be believed, because the code in those games was so dirty that glitches abounded. architecture and API changes now, not to mention much more experience in the coders, lead the current games to be much less bug riddled, so the things now get increasingly farfetched

I never seem to think of stuff first....
I rember there was one about the rocket of R/S/E.
I have been to Glitch City!
I have seen the MissingNo.
What about Pikablu!(That drove me nuts)
Or the Pokegods!
I tried about all of them.
The Mew glitch is real!

My favorite classic rumor from back then has always been the one where if you completed the Pokedex in Yellow and went to the old man standing outside the Celadon City Gym, he'd give you a Mew. I honestly spent months working on completing it (I've never been good at completing the Pokedex) only to find out that my best friend lied to me about it (although why I was surprised, I do not know. He always was a lier and a con man, even at the age of seven).
