Pokemon (23):
3-3-1 Magmortar (LV.X) SW
3-2-3 Typholsion MT
2-2 Claydol GE
4 Stantler

Trainers (21):
2 Crystal Beach
4 Rare Candy
4 Felicity's
2 TGW
2 Warp Point
2 POV
3 Roseanne's
2 NM

Energy (16):
13 Fire
3 Holon FF

So, start with Stantler. Use Roseanne's to get out a Magmar and Fire energy. Keep digging out supporters until Stantler gets KO'd. Send up a nicely powered Magmortar and start firestartering from there.

run blaziken. No crystal beaches and run scramble. no stantler and run with pachi.2 FF. play tvr.

I concur you need fire starter blaziken. its what makes fire decks a threat run it instead of Typholsion. how ever you dont need pachi run holons mentor and cards that make you discard to take full advantage. NO SCRAMBLE its not needed you want to keep the fire starter going if you want to add any make it no more than two as a tech. finaly drop the stantler for hondoom 2 -2 line its a quick strong hit and discards what you need for fire starter

Why Blaziken over Typhlo? The only thing that makes it a big difference is Combusken, and unless you're teching the GE Blaziken, Typhlo > PK Blaze. It has 30 more HP, +30 weakness instead of x2, and an attack that discards DREs and Scrambles.

Yes but i want something that i can use for next season, and the majority is that Blaziken will be out for next season.

From what I've seen on the threads, no one's confirmed that Power Keepers is going out. But if it does, then yes, use typhlosion.

BTW everyone, i'm not dropping stantler. what happens if i get a bad hand with no supporters and only stantler up? play testing this deck with stantler saved me from a T2 loss.

it has 10 more HP.

ok, but to the guy who said scrambles are not needed, obviously you have not played magmortar/blaziken. you say they aren't needed, but they, for one energy attachment, do +60 damage for flame blast, or 40 and 20 to 2 bench, OR a 50 and 10 to everything, OR a quick 80 snipe. a good magmortar build does not just use scrambles, they ABUSE them. Stantler IMO is not the best start, if you have a hand like that, then that is one out of a lot chance, but Pachy is the primary starterfor the deck, since it can grab a magmar, baltoy, and torchic (and i agree w/ the Blaze over Typhlosion, but if it is for next year, run a 1-0-1 blaziken GE line with it.)

and with pachirisu, you CFF first turn so you dont get a T2 loss.
