PKMNMNC long time no see.
Ya well i would have to say we might get on like Japan got or close to it.

Hey you.....I'm still wondering how someone could get more than 2 Darkrai with two games or more than 1 on one pak.
Not to mention the fact of someone soft-resetting to get a competitive Darkrai.

Fact is there is 3 ways of doing it without a AR or GS.
Two games with the same .sav file. (Simple, but has a price tag)
GTS Glitch (Hard)
Trading glitch that I am not willing to talk about till I perfect how I have done it 4 times...(This I discovered by mistake or by luck) (Hardest)

As far as i know, once you've recieved it and take the Pokemon. I don't believe you can receive it again. Much like Magmortar/Electivire for the PBR, you could only recieve each one once on a particular Cart. Even if you delete the info on the DS cart, it won't let you get another one. But you never know, the Event signal could be different.

I would have to say no to that.
All you would have to do is reset the event flag.
(No normal persn could do that so, ya it would be a no.)

I am planning on attending the Event, i'd be willing to take your carts with me so you can get the Event Darkrai. I have two DS systems, and my stepson has one as well. I can do the Grab and swap if they do the Event like Manaphy. Basically get the signal on a cart, save and swap for another one. If they do the item, i'm not sure how that will go. But seeing as how it's a two day Event, i'm sure i can get more than just mine done.

I plan to get alot of Darkrai since I can take advange of own 3 D/P games and I can get many diif ones by backing up my save getting ti and trading it over then putting the save without it back on and repeat.
Simple!

That's all well and good, but how's that going to affect the soft-ressetting? Everybody's gonna want a competitive Darkrai.

If they give out Darkrai like they did Manaphy, where he comes in a special Poke Ball that you obtain from the Guy in the Pokemart. Then you can have what ever nature you want. Basically the way it was on Manaphy, you recieved the signal. Then save in front of a Guy in the Pokemart and obtain Manaphy. Check the nature, stats, etc. If it's not what you want, reset and try again. It's not a set nature, or stats. So you can keep resetting til you get the nature, and stats you want.

I know that....but is there any way to get more than 1? Cause I think that's what people are thinking.

IF not, then I'll have 2 because I have both Diamond and Pearl.

Not from what i have seen.
Once you get the gift it is pre-set.

I went to the Manaphy Event last yr, and i know for a fact that it was not Preset. I reset until i got two Modest natured Manaphys. Electivire and Magmortar were partially set in the PBR, in that they had preset Natures. But you could reset to get better stats.

does anybody know if there's a list already of all TRU locations??? reason I'm asking, is that I'll be in VEGAS that weekend???

so if anybody from NV could help me out here???? much appreciated...

thank ya,

To get a list of Toys R Us stores, just go to the Toys R Us Website and do Store Locator. I did it and they have 2 Toys R Us stores In Vegas. One at 4550 Meadows Lane and One at 4000 S. Maryland Parkway. Also have one in Henderson. Just to be safe, you might wanna call the one you plan to go to ahead of time and make sure they are doing the Event.

Soooooo... I went to my local TRU yesterday, and asked the guy there how things were going (we've met many times in the past, almost on a buddy basis at this point), and brought up the Darkrai event. He hadn't been informed through any official TRU documents, and hadn't even heard of the event. So, my TRU is as uninformed about Pokemon events as it usually is... Well, at least the Manaphy event had gone smoothly there (although I wasn't able to attend... x_x).

It's a little early, but you're going to want to call a week ahead of time to make sure you know which day they'll be holding it on in your specific store.

I called my local Toy's R Us twice.
First time. "Um, we have no info on this event so we will not be having it."
Next day,"Yes, will will be having it May 31st and June 1st at noon."
Alwasy call three times.
If one does nto know one day another might know another day.
