i quit paying attention as soon as i saw glaceon lvl x and leafeon lvl x in the same decklist
too much stuff to try to get out before GG blows you to kingdom come

Run only 1 of the 2 LvXs. Also 1-1-1 duskinoir isn't a good idea. Cause it is very likely that you will prize one of the 3 cards in the line. Also if you are running Claydol you should run steven's with it. Hope it helps.

I disagree, running both isn't all that bad.

- Crystal Beach
- Dusknoir line
- a couple basic energies

+ more lake boundary
+ more espeon and umbreon
+ DREs

Then I must give you credit, you lasted longer than me. I stopped taking this thread seriously when I saw he claims to get T3 Glaceon X/Leafeon X, Umbreon, and Espeon without a starter.

Focus on Leafeon or Glaceon, the two together combo as well as an electrical socket and a butter knife.

Precisely. Thus you are implying that through only a few draw and search you are able to grab 4 cards in 2-3 turns every game, 2 of which you only play 1 of each of, without the use of Claydol. If you luck is that good, I would suggest you quit pokemon and buy a lottery ticket.

Its really not that hard to get a lvlx and an umbreon by turn three. He'll start with eevee most of the time and has 4 celios and 2 premier balls with which to get out his stuff by turn three. its really not that hard. Lay off and go test it.

Starting with eevee does nothing to remedy the situation, except make it even remotely possible.
He would need to start with eevee. with 7 Basics, 4 of which are eevee, he has approximatly a 70% chance of this. Not unreasonable.
He would need one of 4 cards (either Leaf or Glac), or a Celio to get it T1-2. Since only 6 carrds fit the bill, he has approximatly a 75% chance of this.

So far, this scenario has an approximate chance of 52.5% of happening within the first tow turns, with a 9 card hand taken into account.

Now he would need one of the 2 Lv X's, or one of the 2 Premier Balls in order to get a Lv X (or a Celio), giving him around 78% chance of getting the Lv X.

This scenario has a 41% chance of happening, assuming he always starts with at least one celio.

I tested it. Even with Generous Leway given, he has a 40% chance of getting this, assumig nothing is prized.

As I said, if you get that EVERY TIME, go buy a lottery ticket.

Now, as I said before, focus on either Leafeon or Glaceon, together, the two do little to nothing for one another.

ER! WRONG ! Leafeon compliments Glacion with Energy costs, then DAWN STADIUM, then SPEED glacion to front and damage

Glaceon needs 3 energy to attack. You currently have an engine in here to setup unnessesary energy, considering you can easily use Glaceon MD's two energy attack to spread damage. You are much better off setting up more damage spread and Trainers to help you out (such as Plus Power to help out with your low dmaage potential).

40% on getting an amazing start isn't really that bad. He also could play draw cards durring the first few turns and draw into things to get stuff out. Even if he doesn't focus on getting both out, it is a good asset to have in your deck. It helps with energy and hits kabutop's weeknes. Plox doesn't emphasize gallade, does that deck throw out gallade? No, its a backup. It doesn't even get used in every game, because psychic lock is so important and finishes games before you need anything else.

Notice I completely left out Umbreon and Espeon, which drops it down to 3%.
I also left out energy, and I also said this was generous.
I ran the calcs, I was way off. 9% of that said start, without counting energies, Umbreon, and Espeon.
My apologies.

I don't completely have anythingagainst your percents, but there are a lot of factors being missed, such as drawing a card and thinning out the deck, also I power up Umbreon sometimes as a staller or potential knock-out hitter(ITS A GOOD ATTACKER)

No point in wasting my breath to those who only pick at small points and do not comment on suggestions I make towards their deck. I wish you luck with your deck.

Omg this is driving me insane all of yall are bagging on this guys deck just cause it starts out with 4 eevee...umm may i remind you that scizor ran 4 syther and had aalmost the same attack and was amazing in the last format...sure it didnt win anything but I got top at everything i went to with it......and i plan on runnnng the same deck for my br's and its amazing 4 eevee start and i guarentte you'll start with any eeveelution by turn 2...cuz thats what i start with......all of yall are bagging on this deck now but once yall see it winning yall are going to be like hey this deck is ok and start building because yall are net deckers............get beasted......im out....i wish you luck with your deck and hope you win every single one you go to.......

Scizor only had to get out Scizors.
Not a Glaceon/Leafeon Lv X, Espeon, Umbreon, and Claydol, buy turn three.
Scizor=Stage 1
Leafeon/Glaceon=non rare candyable stage 2 that can only evolve when active.
there ya have it yall...

but you not trying to get all of those out by turn 3......they fall into place while your playing.....when you start its eevee then either glace or leaf....then the X....

What?
If I remember right, getting multiple Scizor out fast and early was the whole point of a Scizor deck was it not?
Of course you didnt need 3 Scizor out by turn 3, but it was very possible.
Maybe I wasnt clear when I said this
Scizor only had to get out Scizors. As in it didnt have to get out different Scizors like Eevee has to get out the right kind of Eevee.
Not a Glaceon/Leafeon Lv X, Espeon, Umbreon, and Claydol, buy turn three.
Scizor=Stage 1 You can evolve your Syther to its final stage 1 turn after playing it.
Leafeon/Glaceon=non rare candyable stage 2 that can only evolve when active. You cannon evolve them to their final stage the very next turn, you have to wait AND it has to be active.
Hopefully that was a bit clearer.
It is much easier to get out almost any other kind of Pokemon than it is to get out a stage 1 Lv X (or any lv X for that matter) because even after Rare Candy or things like that you still have to wait a turn and have it active to lv up.

As for the deck, I think that too much is trying to be accomplished in it.
I can see one of the Eevee Lv X's being played with the other as it being a support card or tech like a 1-1 Leafeon/X in a Glaceon X based deck, or the other way around.
But trying to focus on both Leafeon and Glaceon with their Lv X's is just a bit too much.
So either a 1-1 Glaceon or Leafeon Lv X line should be taken out.
