It looks like one of these BR's will have to be skipped if we want to go to TRU to obtain Darkrai for the DS. Problem is I don't want to skip either of those locations. Anyone want to take my DS and download Darkrai for me?

Oh god OUCH!!! :frown:

When tourneys like these are scheduled, it seems like it'd be a good idea to start looking into what else is going on during the day. Seems like pretty recently there was gonna be a tournament the day Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out, but since the game's release got pushed back, it wasn't a problem.

Now we run into THIS. This is gonna be a MESS. I'd love to go to Guardian Games on that saturday, but, that's also the ONLY day i'll be able to go get Darkrai at Toys R Us.

Hmmm... What can be done about this, anyone know?

EDIT:
The darkrai event at Toys R Us lasts from Noon to 4pm... Not sure if that helps, considering there's no longer a TRU in Portland :mad:

Yes, we had to double up due to some non-pokemon constraints that ruled out a couple of dates. We'll finally get to see where the Pokemon Power Base is in Oregon. Who will have the biggest tournament - Corvallis or Portland? :rolleyes:

I'm going to the Portland one. I needs my Raichu fix taken care of. ^^

Also, dang. So much for ordering cards online with cheap shipping. -_-. Oh well.

Our new Japanese correspondent, "heerosferret," will be providing us with news from Japan now and forever. She is an avid Pokemon fan, watches the show each week, goes to the Pokemon Centers in Japan, and is a huge Raichu fan. She will be writing articles for us in the future about Pokemon life in Japan (in fact, she has already written one, and I'll probably post it tomorrow).

Well, [R]visitor and I plan on having our local DS tournaments switched to double battles soon. As for the other rules posted on that website, I doubt we'll use them.

And don't forget, Darkrai will be legal soon, although I think we'll only make the Toys R Us Darkari legit for tournaments. We'll see what happens. :rolleyes:

I'll be in Corvallis, mostly because Clint's birthday is not far from that BR date. Can't wait for that one.
