Does any one else here play a Garchomp deck as there main deck? Any kind. How well does it do? Mine does GREAT.:thumb:

btw, forgot to mention:

Team Garchomp PM Tentacruel13 to join

Were trying to figure out the best way to run garch.

I would say the best way is 3 Premier Balls, at least one of every Energy Type and no Special Energy.

What's your starter and supporter?

You've sean my deck list, right? Try to get furret out and get a garch going as fast as posible. Could use work, like the new list I posted. It's the My Garchomp deck in deck help and strategy forum.

Boy... no one like garch? I though it was popular...

I played Garchomp with Togekiss and Claydol at Regionals and did pretty well. I need to update it now that MD is out for Battle Roads.

I've played it, and I have some thoughts.

You don't really need a starter. I run 4-3-3-1 Garchy, 2-1-2 Togekiss plus 2-2 Claydol, 1 Mantine and 1 Unkown G (removable)

It gets set up just fine with 3 Roseannes and 3 Celio. Claydol is blisteringly fast, and I love it to death.
I also have 4 Rare Candy's but I'm thinking of removing 1 or a Gabite, for more Celio or other tech room.

4 Water, 4 Psychic, 2 Lightning and 2 Fighting with the rest of the NRG in ones.

2 Night Maintenance (though with the advent of Garchy lvX I don't know if I'll need 2, maybe 1...

Professor Oak's Visit is the preferred method of draw, plus 1 tech Copycat fo awful hands.

I've played Garchomp/Togekiss/Claydol as my main States deck and got a first, a second and a third place with it.

It's a great deck and I wonder why it had so low success in US States and Regionals (in Europe it was one of the best decks just behind G/G and Magmortar).

But I don't know if it will still be good with MD, because Umbreon beats it and LatiLock, Dusknoir etc will be played more than before.

I played Garch at VA states and got 5-1 ( was 5-0) It works quite well. I nead a good way to run it, so I'm testing diferent methods at BR's.

well, I built a Garchomp/Togekiss/Furret with a ball engine and like 6 supporters, and it top 16'd at eastern Canadian Regionals. I think the record at the end of the day was 4-3 (loss in top 16 included).

Why not TV Reporter? Discard a Pokemon to revive in the process?
