ok, what would go good with blastiose. also, i would like the pokemon line to be small. 22 at most.

Magneton Delcatty can work.
Honestly, Stoise kinda rolled over and died when Leafeon and Manaphy were printed, since Leaf plays energy and then can actually attack well, and Manaphy can swarm energy as a BASIC.

...Dawn Stadium? Recover a damage counter for each energy played?

...That and Wailord. It'd never die *sigh* [del]nor would it ever do anything... :/[/del]

Hmm, interesting :D
Too bad like you said though, it's really weak...

I have ran Blastoise A LOT!
I have ran him with Manectric, Blissey, Crawdaunt EX, himself, etc.
I was going to run him at States, BUT Could not keep the love from Empo, lol!
Use Smergle SW as a Starter!

Rather than using someone who can set you upm would would use someone who can grab energy.
...I see.

Just IMHO but Smergle is underrated as a starter. Smeergle + Call Energy for instance gives you a lot of options. Yeah Patchi or Phione are probably more consistant but Smeargle in a deck that needs a lot of energy in hand makes sense.

Blastoise would work well with Dialga lv.X with a bit of luck.
The fact that you have a chance to continue what you are planning to do without sacrificing a valueable turn is priceless.

i have been thinking of playing it like hurricane, but wut mca3 said has sparked my intrest. can u pm me a list?

...no
Stantler with Roseanne in a deck with lots of energy makes sense.
Smegle is garbage outside of the lucky "sketch, heads, psychic cut ko lol" scenario.

But you see that's exactly it V. Once I have the energy I need I loose nothing by trying to go for broke with Smergle's other attack. It really doesn't matter if you get heads or not in one sense. Just the threat alone can force your opponent to respond depending on whats in play.

You'll have to excuse me if I don't really fear a starter pokemon who does nothing to set you up and only grabs you energies. Honestly, enjoy your 18 Energy hand while I enjoy... actually bieng setup.
Seriously, Smeargle fails as a main starter.

smeargle is manditory because it gets the water nrgies that blastiose spreads. smeargle with call is the best starter for this deck.

Blastoise works pretty well with Gyrados and Smergle as had been suggested. With Gyrados active and no damage eon it you can skip your attack to load the energy you want onto it. If they attack it for a lot you can Flail, if they decide to not attack you can use Thrash and start killing stuff. Blastoise also works perfectly well as a backup attacker, 90 a turn without a drawback is pretty nice.

I was working ever-so-briefly on a deck that used one of each of the three modified-legal Blastoise. Blastoise CG is probably your best attacker of the three, but both of the CG Blastoise force a Gallade player to OHKO you, which gets a lot of their prizes turned over early. Blastoise d CG's body gives you the chance to use Pokemon that are diminished in value because of their weakness to the metagame, like Exeggutor or Blissey. Start with Smeargle, pick up six energy on your first two turns, attach them with Blastoise SW's power, and go to town on T4. I also like Lucario as a partner for Blastoise d, though this really decreases the value of Blastoise SW.
