Garchomp Players:MT Gible vs. POP6 Gible

I'd rather do something disruptive T1 than nothing. The berry doesn't even play a part after you evolve. That and Surprise Attack is a pretty bad attack with the whole "flip tails, this attack does nothing" thing.
 
I agree MT>>>>POP6 in almost every situation. Pushing donwn their starter into something useless should give you the time you need to set-up.
 
If P6 was inbetween each player's turn, I'd probably use it. Negating spread attacks? Yes, please!
Unfortunately, it's basically a temporary Leftovers (only at end of turn so only half as effective), and on a card that you don't really want out (Gabite's questionable on how useful it is to have out. Garchomp is VERY useful. Gible? None of them are that hot :/)

So, yeah. T1 something over T1 nothing, please. [del]Even though I'd just use a starter instead[/del]
 
I use 2-2. No reason other than that I only have 2 of each.
 
Definitely the MT one. Being able to switch out their starter is awesome, and being able to do damage T1 is much more useful. Too bad they didn't put the POP 6 art on the MT one. :tongue: (Kouki Saito artwork FTW!!!:biggrin:)
 
Push Down + Memory Berry + proper energy for dragon scale = 50 + switch for one energy. not bad. plus gabite has decent attacks. helpful for when you lack the necessary energy for garchomp? plus a castaway gets you memory berry and whatever energy you need at the same time
 
Mt all the way i used to run 3 Mt 1 p6 and i lost turn two to turtwig with pp that was the end of runing the p6 in my deck and the p6 one is too risky for to high of energy cost

The MT Gible is much better allowing you to disrupt your opponent T1 as opposed to possibly doing nothing, also, the berry isn't even that good, i have never really used it
 
If you have ever got a great start with your perfered starter active and had Baltoy on the bench, than watched your them flip a Gible and watch Baltoy get dragged to the active...wel MT hands down.
 
MT every single time potental to drag something useless(to them anywayat that point) out then donk it on your next go if they haven't got it back on the bench is alway better
i prefer the art on the POP6 one though much cooler
