Universal Wii/DS FC Thread?

Well since people are posting different FC's for different games, I'd say this: Why not have a universal FC Thread for Wii and DS Games? That way, you could check out all of them and figure out who has what game.

Just a thought.
 
I like this idea as it will condense all of the codes to one Topic. We'd have a Post, and everyone replys with the game(s) they have and the code(s) to go with each one. After your info is added, delete the post so that others can have theirs added without having to search the entire topic. Will need someone to Edit the Main Post when new info is added, which probably would be the Person who starts the Topic.
 
Lets not turn this into something like the trading thread. That is a failure and this would result in the same. It would make it much more difficult to scroll through everything, even if it was on the first post.

Pablo....thats even more reason, so that only one thread needs to be used. That way we can conserve space. This has been suggested recently, and I have had this idea in mind. Who cares if you don't think it will work, give it a try. I think it will help conserve space, and this one thread has to be the only big one, when it comes to FC's. We have NOTHING to lose as far as I can see. I'm tired of you not having an open mind now, or as you might see it, forseeing what will happen, and stopping it before it starts.
 
Pablo is right, and you shouldn't be concerned over space, what difference does it make to you? If I want to get into a Brawl match with someone I just look for the specific thread. I can then make a post about it and someone will eventually see it because 10 people below my post didn't request some other type of game.

Okay.....what I mean is, its a bit of trouble to search for the specific thread for different games, or atleast it would be less trouble to just have one. Thats what I meant. Some people might just use the thread to add the FC's. Often times people are just on the game, and they don't need to comunicate with them, but just get on and play them.
 
Use AIM/PM's to communicate. You will simply have 25 different posts about 25 different game requests, and this is NOT a chat room, if you ask for a game people will not automatically reply, makig it even more confusing, and if that is what you're looking for, I'll make a general Challenge me thread where you can challenge people to battle/race/etc. But NO one goes to the one of these FC threads, after they have been challenged by someone and gets it from there and then goes on to play. When you hallenge someone it has to be live, and at that moment you can ask for the FC, thus these type of threads are pointless.

Often times people are just on the game, and they don't need to comunicate with them, but just get on and play them.

If they are your friends, you will have added them at some point to your FC roster, and thus will never check for that FC ever again, you don't jsut go adding random people from FC threads and hoping they added you back do you?

And Azure if you have a complaint about me or they way I've been modding, you can put up a complaint about it now in the Team Compendium Hideout.

So basically we should just delete ALL FC Threads. Bottom line, all that is asked is a place for anyone to Challenge those available to play a particular game. So where should it take place? Unless you know someone is online at that moment and able to play a particular game, there isn't anywhere to connect. If we make a thread for people to say "Hey online right now, and want to play......anyone available?" Then the thread would be huge in no time with requests to play. It's a no win scenario.
 
Which is why OBVIOUSLY this is a forum and not a chat room, and thus it is not an adequate place to do this, and should be done by PM's or through an instant messaging software.

The thread would be there for people to update their FC's, like with DP, and for new people, who will continue to join, to see the FC's and add them.

There is no need. This has nothing to do with your ability as a moderator, in which your doing a fine job.(no FLATTERY intended) My problem is that you do not have much of an open mind from what I can see. WHY NOT give it a shot? Instead of saying it will never work, why not do it, SINCE WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE. I don't know, maybe I'm just stupid, but there is no reason for you to be so against this idea. If anything, it will eliminate all the new threads when a big game comes out that has huge Wi-Fi capabilities. We simply add a new list onto the thread. Even if its not much help, it will be better than a new, yet worthless thread coming up every time a big new game comes out.
 
I've never said it can't be done, just that it wont work. And I have yet to see anyone step up and actually post it.
 
The King Of Magikarps had already offered to do it. I think no one has done it yet because it seems you would lock it if someone created one.
 
Well whoever wants to do it go ahead, I'll be MORE than happy to unsticky the current FC threads at the top, and just have one there.
