Opinions anyone? Ideas? SOMETHING?!?!?

Okay guys and gals, we know about most of the features.

Now, what songs do you think it will include?

What songs do you want it to include?

What Features do you want to see in it that we don't already know about?

Let's get some opinions in here. So discuss!



I vote anything Classic Rock. It's just awesome!

A feature where you could battle someone online with a custom song that either you or they made with the new recording studio would be pretty cool!


A guesstimated price range would be nice...

Huh... you know, that's weird, cause I was just reading an article in GI not three hours ago that said it was just called Guitar Hero 4. Huh.

Anyway, I am PUMPED,! This is gonna be sweet, I just know it.

As for the kinds of songs I want to see, I want less metal and more classic rock, definitely. As for features, we've got character creation mode, but what about the rest of the band if you're playing Single Player career? That would be NICE, cause then I could have my band be exactly how I want it. And, even more cool would be if there wasn't a stinking five song cap on custom songs for GH Tube! I mean, what if I make a song and post it, and then make a better one and want to share it with the world, but I've already used up my five slots. Can I at least take one off and put a nwe one in? Yeah.

Also, I have every intention of making a dragon as my character. Because if I can be the Grim Reaper, Satan, the freaking God of Rock, and SLASH!!!!!, then I want to be able to take the head of a dragon, stick it on my character, and have a winged fire-breathing bipedal reptile as my character.

the recording and releasing your own music sounds interesting. But with only 5 buttons on the plastic guitar verses about 21 fret by 6 string on a real one, I wonder how limited it will be.
 
This news is at least 2 months old. Also we already have a thread for it and IMO its not going to be all that good. It's going to above average at best.

Well, I'm sorry. I didn't see a thread for it, and it's news to me. I'm sure it's news to others as well...

It's got the most realistic drums, record your own songs AND share them with the WORLD, etc, etc. And it's only going to be "Above Average at best"?

It may be nothing like the real thing, but it'll be the best Music Video Game out as of now, IMO.

I was at a point yesterday where I was debating that I would spend money on an X-Box 360. I came at the conclusion that I should wait for the next gen if I really wanted to.

Rock Band and GH4 are both extremely expensive! With those drums, guitar, and microphone, they will both reach 160$, not something I would want to pay. Otherwise, it seems like a cool game, and Hotel California is practically confirmed for GH4 when the Eagles were confirmed to be in the game.
 
I'm stoked that Dream Theater is going to be in it. They're quite underrated but their guitarist is one of the BEST in the entire world.
I would love it if Constant Motion made it in.
All of their songs are like 8+ minutes (Change of Seasons is 23 [and rocks the WHOLE time]) so it will be really cool to see them in it.

Hopefully 1 or 2 Metallica songs make it in as well. Fade To Black or No Remorse would be beyond cool.
As with Ozzy. No More Tears, Shot in the Dark, or Over The Mountain would be way cool too.

I would love to see more KSE or As I Lay Dying in the game, but I'm not quite sure what they think about "screaming" music. But man would it be awesome to play some of their (or other "newer" bands) music in that game.

You haven't played, "In The Belly Of A Shark" on GH3, have you? Can't understand a word he's screaming, lol.


Twisted Sister all the way. "Girls Rock Your Boys" has some great guitar solos. And it has some mean drums come to think of it... And, "We're Not gong To Take It", has good drums too, along with guitar of course!!



But now that GH4 has drums and a mic, we need, "Through The Fire And Flames" back so we can get the FULL experience this time!!!

Unbeatable guitars was hard 'nuff, can you imagine those drums?!?! And the mic??! :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Plus we get Bass guitar now. I played "Through the Fire And Flames" Bass in practice mode. Jeez.

Can we just say DragonForce is complete AWESOME?

Amen to that. Come top think of it, I've never tried TtFatF on Bass before. Oh, and it's not impossible to get a 100% on it on Expert. Just incredibly unlikely. I've seen videos of it on Youtube.
 
Dragon Force isn't nearly as good as people make them out to be. All Herman does is play really fast.
If you can play fast you can play any of Dragon Force's songs.
My 10th grade friend can play anything of theirs, as soon as he gets the rhythm.
Yes, he is a good guitarist, but there are so many better ones out there.

And yes, I can understand what they're saying in "In The Belly of A Shark".

I know that he isn't the best, but there are like 3 different guitars you're playing in that song.

Herman's Solo, the other guy's, then the rest of the song!!


You can't possible tell me you think it's easy?? My friend knows a guy who can get 90% of the notes, on Hyperspeed mind you!

Anyways, even if he only plays really fast, their songs are still good IMO.


So, GH4 has the Largest set list ever? It HAS to have something for everyone. Unless they have complete albums in it. Then we'll just have to hope we like the artists!!

I wonder if the mic can tell the difference between words like the new Rock Band one is supposed to...
 
Now I know its not that easy to play that fast, I'm just saying don't make them out to be better than they are, because if you can play fast you can play any of their songs, much like my 10th grade friend.
They're an alright band, I'll give you that. Not exactly my cup of tea though.
Thrash/Metal as a whole however...

No, but I do agree, more Guns N Roses, Metallica, Rolling stones, maybe a little Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and you have a game of win right there.

Yeah, that was a good one!

I don't know. If we got some more unheard of bands in it, we could make some more unheard of bands more money.

Wouldn't you love your unheard of song in the next Guitar Hero Game? Then sell out a whole bunch of albums that you could have never sold without Guitar Hero's help.

There are only so many great songs out there, they'll resort to that eventually...
