Right here's a bit of a fun deck i played around with, not sure it really works though::

3-2-3 Metagross EX PK
2-1-2 Omastar MD
2-2 Claydol
2 Rotom
1-0-1 Blastoise d

20

4 Rare Candy
4 TVR
4Rosannes
4 Bebe's
2 Castaway
3 Buffer Piece
2 NM
2 Warp Point
2 SSU

27

4 Sp Metal
2 Multi
5 Basic Metal
2 Water

13

Strategy: Does't matter what u start, u ideally want to get out rotom/claydol T2 to help power up metgross ex, then use omastar's power to devolve their evolved pokemon, magnetic redraw with Gross EX and then scanblast, hopefully getting a couple of ko's . Blasty d there for weakness issues on Gross:biggrin:

Decks it would be fun to play against:

Eeveelutions: Laugh as you devole all 4 eeveelutions into their basic form and draw 4 prizes:smile:

Bannette: As above but with shuppets!

G&G: Although weakness issues, devolving them all to ralts would cripple your opponent horribly.

Be nice to know if this deck won against anything:lol: Any thoughts?

True, but all you need is one hit with metagross and an omastar power and its game pretty much vs most played decks.

I still like Shiftry more but I'm curious about how this deck actually works have you tested? How does it fare without a starter? How do you make sure you attack the same form that is on the bench?

cant say iv tsted much, more of an idea. Warp point kind of helps, maybe a 1-1 palkia lv x line instead of blastoise to ensure what u want?

What is really funny about this deck is I built it before the new Omastar. It is mean, but takes a while to get going. I really like it, Metagross EX gets is good for damage spread and really is a fun card to play.

the main problem with the strategy of this is Omastar only devolves the bench, so unless you have a way of pulling somethingelse up into the active you won't be spreading any damage at all.

I wouldn't use special metal energy since Rotom isn't able to charge metagross with it. I would try to reduce the number of special energy cards and never use multi energy (even if it is to evolve omanyte with fossil's power).

But, if the special energy card weren't an issue, i would consider using cyclone energy to switch oponent's defending pokemon and attack the bench (after devolving it with omastar.)

-> Instead of
Scanblast + Magnetic redraw + Cosmic power (Claydol),

I think
Dirge (Shiftry ex) + TGW + Sharing (milotic d) is better
(with milotic you could see opponent's hand and use Shiftry ex's Skill Hack attack if convenient).

Dirge is easier to use because it uses 2 colorless energy. Also, Shiftry from DP may give you a chance of devolving a pokemon in 2 stages and could attack in emergencies, when it would be better to save shiftry ex. Retreat is zero due to moonlight stadium.
I would include more omastar lines too, mix with the power keeper one. The PK omastar attacks with 1 energy, it could slow down your opponent stage 2 pokemon replacement if you devolve it twice (rare candies are not infinite).

The problem is that this setup would be even harder to do than metagross's.

Risking using an ex pokemon but instead making a 1 turn attack that could completely mess your opponent's game... funny. =]

An Eeveelutions player would be a complete fool to bench 4 Eevee the instant they saw a Beldum. It's a fun deck, nothing more.

It's a really nice concept but I don't think there are very high chances you'll get a Metagross with 3 energies and an omastar that only hits the bench with it's power. Another real issuse this deck has is the decks people play, GG will tear Metagross apart for 2 whole prizes....It is a good idea but I think the whole deck as a whole is a bit too risky too play...

yar its a bit of a hit and miss deck. Thought of some edits.

-2 Warp Point
-1-0-1 blatoise d

+ 2 Switch
+1-1 Palkia Lv x

You need MORE Warp point, not less, because Omastar only devolves their bench, so you have mategross ex on the bench, devolve their whole bench, warp point up you metagross, which should force up soething you can kill, use your power, then scanblast.

blastoise is needed to stop from getting destroyed by magmortar and other fire types, and palkia will just let them pull up metagross ex with 5 retreat before you are ready to use him.

Well if the omastar is just there for devolving, I would go with 1 Omastar MD and 2 Omastar PK because the PK one devolves ALL of your opponents pokemon, not just the benched
