Top 10 Cards We'll Miss(By Team Space-Time)
With Worlds and set rotation only a few months away, it's time to start thinking about how the Metagame will change for next format. Here are the 10 cards that have effected this format so much, and will be gone by next format.

10: Holon's Castform
This card really offered versitility. The Holon's Pokemon ability of being playable like a DRE, but having to bounce something back was great if you couldn't find the right energy for a Pokemon, or wanted to put 2 rainbow on a basic. It also allowed strategies of useing an energy acelerator, than using Castform to have the desired energy.
The downside of Holon's Castform is, well, it's a basic. Unlike the older Holon's Pokemon, you can potentialy be forced to play it. That option isn't so bad in a deck that runs δ Pokemon, but in most decks it would be a disastar.

9: Castaway
Our only reliable Tool searcher, Castaway. Need that Cessation Crystal to shut off their Telepass? Castaway for it! Castaway is also unique in which not only does it grab Tools, which is good, but it also gets an Energy, which helps if your running only 14 Energy or something, and a Supporter. That Supporter-searching is so good, you can get Ceilio's, and use it next turn, plus an Energy so you can attack and set up for the Evolution, and a Tool, like Strength Charm or Cessation Crystal. So, Castaway is a good card, and will be missed, especially when decks really need that Tool-searching.

8: TV Reporter
This was at one time the best card draw-er. What made it better than its former competitors (Cozmo and Adventurer) was that it did a draw of 3 consistanly (Cozmo:rolleyes:) and you discarded after you drew, so you would have a better selection for the discard. Now it's overshadowed by POV and Felicity's Drawing, but it will still remain a very good card.

7: Copycat
One of the best hand shuffling effects (second to Rocket Admin). Whenever your opponent had a great amount of cards in hand you can just Copycat and take advantage of a small deal. Another reason it could be life saving is if you are going to deck yourself throw your hand back into the deck and take your time with useless cards.
This card blew up when Holon Castform became the staple starter in almost any deck when your opponenet had at least 10 cards in his/her hand.

6: Scott
This card is sooooo usefull in anything with loads of Stadiums. It grabs 3 in any combo of stadiums and supporter. The ability to grab cards that you only need to use once, but are vital is very usefull. You can grab the right stadium or supporter (or both) for your senario. Basicly it means you don't have to clog up your deck with multiple copies. We'll really miss this one.

5: Cessation Crystal
This card is deadly. Complete Poke-Power lockdown, as long as it's on your active Pokemon. Any deck that relies on Poke-Powers can be shut down, and easily overtaken. It's not as big as it was (Psychic lock is the new Cess), but it renders lots of today's arch type decks useless.

4: Scramble Energy
This is almost as good as DRE. It only works when you're losng by prize cards, but it will then provide 3 rainbow energy! It is so usefull as a backup, being able to do the equivlent of 3 energy a turn. It's never a bad thing to have a surprise attack if things are going wrong. A well played Scramble energy can be very disruptive.

3: Windstorm
This thing will be missed. Annoying Lake Boundary? Windstorm it! Buffer or something preventing the KO? Windstorm it! Cess locking your Powers? Windstorm it! Maybe it won't be good as it is now, because most of the things you'd want to Windstorm are gone from the format (Cess, Beach, etc.), but I'm sure that we will miss it anyway, as their are some new Tools coming out in Legends Awakening, and Unown G, and Unown Q might be pretty annoying.

2: Ceilio's Network
For all of this season, this card has remained a staple card in any deck. 4 of it is an automatic must now. You put it ahead of every other Trainer when making your deck. That's Ceilio's Network. Unfortunatly, we're going to lose it next season... Bebe's Search may replace it, but sometimes, you just can't afford to lose a card in your hand, and so you can't win. Ceilio's will be missed, but not as much as one other card...

And number 1...

:fire::grass::water::dark:Double Rainbow Energy:fighting::lightning:psychic::metal:
The best Energy in the format, we're sure to miss DRE. At least 2 copies of it belongs in almost every deck. What, can't attack yet? DRE! It allows some cool tricks with something like Infernape, where your opponent doesn't think you can attack... then you drop DRE and KO them! Some attacks, like Gallade's Sonic Blade, places Damage Counters, not damage, so it's unaffected by DRE's one drawback - all of your attacks do 10 less damage. Still, attacking a turn earlier is a good price to pay for this small drawback, right? You can even drop a basic, candy it, then DRE for a KO. So, this is why we're going to miss DRE more then any other card in the format.

Honorable Mentions
Yes, we know we haven't covered all the good cards from HP, CG and DF. So here are those that missed out on the top cut.

Delcatty
As all those fellow Infernacatty players know, this card is the best. An energy discard, in exchange for drawing up to 3 cards! It works very well with energy aeleration decks, and has drawpower that can rival een that of Claydol.

Steven's Advice
One of the best card drawers in the format, it's unrivaled in the fact that it can draw up to a whopping 6 cards... with no drawbacks. That's amazing, sure, but it has limited use, because you need less then 7 cards in your hand. A neat little combo is to use it with Claydol - Cosmic Power so you have 6 cards in your hand, then Steven's. Another good thing about Steven's is Pachirisu (Great Encounters)'s popularity. T1 - Call For Family, 3 Basics, he now have 4 Pokemon in play.
You - Steven's, draw four, CFF for 3 Basics.
So, yes, we'll definatly miss Steven's Advice.

Strength Charm
Strength Charm is a good tech for anything that uses a Castaway engine. Doing 10 more damage is good in a sticky situation. For those of you who will ask "why not PlusPower?", the answer is simple: Castaway. PlusPower may be better in the regard that there is no limit to how many can be played per turn, but the searching aspect makes it worth dropping 1 to 2 PlusPowers for Strength Charm.

Island Hermit
It may not have great drawpower, but it can do something usefull: flip your prizes. It can be crutial to run a few in decks like Quickitune, Eeveelutions, ect, anything that can have some big problems if the wrong card gets prized.
The other bonus is this: it's a safeguard against G&G decks. If a gardlade player doesn't have many other options they are forced to either skip Telepass, or flip prizes (bye-bye Gallade:tongue:).

Mr Stone's Project
Once the Holon Lass craze died down, this was the best energy searcher. The option to get them from the discard was an added bonus, since things like night maintenace are usualy reserved for getting Pokemon.

Rayquaza δ ex
This is the best Tech sniper we've had. The ability to do 50 damage out of nowhere (okay, T2 if you aren't losing) is so valuable. Those red face paint players out there will miss it alot.

Half of those cards are going to be reprinted. I'm not sure how you have Scott on that list over such things as Steven's Advice and the fact that you actually mention Mr.Stone's Project when Roseanne's Research is in the format.

They are? Who says? I doubt they will be.

It'll be useless next season. DRE and scramble will be gone! =D ( YAY!) { I don't have any........}

Although it was risky and never really proved all that useful in most decks, I'll miss getting a few cheap KOs with absol ex.

This list fails. Seriously.

ACK THE NUMBER OF REASONS THAT JUSTIFY THIS POST ARE BLINDINGLY HIGH! :nonono:

Even if it wasn't seeing huge widespread use anymore, things will be weird without TV Reporter. It's been around for what, 18 sets now? And I will sourly miss Copycat...

I'm Really Gonna Miss Island Hermit.
Absolutely. Island Hermit is the play in more decks than people think or notice. I have won many tournament matches on opponents being incapable of acquiring their Lv.X in that crucial moment when they needed it, while Island Hermit could potentially have solved their problem earlier in the match. Also, some Gardellade decks play a trainer engine where they have no draw supporters at all, and rely on their opponents for them while starving other Gardellade opponents of Telepass draw. Island Hermit, however, not only has one of the most undesired effects for a Gardellade deck of making them flip their own prizes, but also only yields a relatively measly 2 cards compared to other draw supporters. Definitely should have gotten more attention this format for its anti-Telepass properties. I don't know what I am going to do without it.

I've done that in all my decks but Infernacatty. The Telepass shutdown will be missed.

Scramble almost as good as DRE? DRE isn't that good, and should only be used if you're in desperation. Scramble is amazing and forces the faster, better deck, to sometimes lose games. It's bad for the enviroment, seeing as how EXes are no longer the stuff. I won't miss it at all.

Scramble is if not better just as good as dre. Also scott is almost never used that much and same with castaway. Holon's castform lost a lot of its power. It' sholdn't really be in the top 10. Windstorm is useless in the next format. There are almost no disruptive stadiums or tools and we still have pachi and counter stadiums for that. Also dre is not going to be the most missed card in the next format.

Island Hermit? I've never seen a good list that had an Island Hermit card in it. No one will miss that HORRIBLE card.

Agreed. No one I know has ever played Island Hermit. Its just Mom's Kindness with an Uneeded affect. You should replace that with Crystal Beach or Flygon EX d.

You have GOT to add, Stregth Charm, steven's advice, delcatty, and TV Reporter to the list IMO.

@TORCHWOOD: How is Crystal beach gonna be any good if DRE, scramble, and holon's castform are going?
