Hi Everybody!

I was looking for a good, reliable BR deck that was new. (Not GG or T2B) So I looked at MD and after trying a couple of different decks (Moltres, Eveelutions), this is the one I picked.

I tried many different versions of this deck and decided none of them were fast enough and reliable at the same time, so here goes:

Pokemon

4-2-4 Empoleon MD (All are MD, Piplup is Pecha one)

2-2 Claydol GE

4 Chatot MD

=18

Trainers/Supporters

4 Rare Candy

4 Master Ball

4 Roseanne's Research

3 Bebe's Search (Over Celio's BC Topslock)

1 Celio's Network

2 Dawn Stadium

2 NM

2 Warp Point

1 Steven's Advice

2 TGW

=25

Energy

10 Water Energy

2 Scramble Energy

2 DRE

2 Holon WP

=16

Strategy: Start with any pokemon (There really isn't a bad starter) Chatot is prefferable. Chatot can recycle hands to get what you want. It is almost impossible NOT to have a Empoleon powered up by T2/T3. Chatot can take some initial hits and retreat for free. Chatot/Claydol can fill bench space for Surf Together. Claydol provides draw. Just keep setting up Empoleons and recycle with NM. It is very easy to pull of double KOs, especially early on.

Any comments/suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

Testing, I'm also trying it with 2 Empo DP

@ Black Mamba: I've yet to try DP Prin, Testing

@ Todd  Sorry, I didn't think It was THAT offensive but I'll change it. I was just sick of "Quick Empoleon"

DRE just hurts Empoleon's spread, which is the reason why it's so good. Try Call Energy instead to make the most of your starts, or more WP if you fear Sonic Blade.

DP Prinplup >>>> MD Prinplup Try running 3 to increase your chance of early spread.

Dawn Stadium is a bit useless, really, especially if you are running Holon WP, as that prevents Status effects anyway. Try Battle Frontier to shut down Togekiss, Delcatty, Garchomp, etc. Even Glacia's Stadium is better than Dawn in a Water deck as it stops Garchomp doing 110 damage and guards against techs like Electrode SW.

You don't have a lot of draw. Try replacing Master Ball with more Steven's Advice and/or Professor Oak's visit.

So:

-1 Rare Candy
-2 Prinplup MD
-4 Master Ball
-2 Dawn's Stadium
-2 DRE

+3 Prinplup DP
+2 Battle Frontier/Glacia
+1 Steven's Advice
+3 Professor Oak's Visit
+2 Call Energy/Holon WP

i like that a little better but 4 candy is good. u dont need glacia or battle frontier i dont think, but maybe windstorm. catty u dont hafve to be afraid of becasue of weakness.
