Quick Question for you guys. Quick Claw vs. Healing Item

I was going on an Elite Four Run, and of course most of them use 1-2 Full Restore per battle. I was wondering, if a Pokemon Held a Quick Claw, could it go first before the Healing Item is used?

no. all items, switches, runs and other things you do before you choose your attack are always applied before the attack is made. even if quik claw works, its not gonna attack before healing

No, but the attack Embargo works wonders.

Aanyway. Does anyone know if Heal Block stops the Healing items from being used? Embargo does for sure, but isn't that an effect on one pokemon?

The Abomasnow was several levels under Garchomp and even under the rest of my party, so I believe I needed Blizzard's Base Power. Either that or for some reason it had lost ice shard well before that for some reason. I don't recall. The latter is probably a safe bet.
