How do you make a "sticky"?

How do you make a...what? If you mean a sticky thread, you don't. A mod does.

by being an admin or mod....no sane person would allow non staff to make stickies other wise EVERYONE who thinks their thread is important would sticky it and we would have 300+ stickied threads

Yeah, that is the moderator/admins' jobs. If regular people like us could make stickies... just imagine what the deck forum would look like. Everyone wants their topic on the top of the first page, but it doesn't work that way.

The mod Control Panel... and the only reason for stickies are for items that people like to use taht are never bumped or rules for the forum

Ohh. I think what you do is click on the number of the post and it will do that.

Yes you click the post # you want to post a single link to and then you copy and paste url for that single post.
