Old Startegy

Power-Up a Magmortar attack enemies 'till it faints, then Infernape Lv. X comes in ('nuff said). Every other thing is just there to help set up and recover.

Changes to the Strategy

Delcatty and TVR had to be removed for the rotation that's coming up :frown:

Altrenatively, Arcanine could come in to replace Magmortar after it gets charged up, dealing more damage but knocking itself out to place more energy in the discard... Delcatty and TVR used to do the job better...

A few ideas

Use the MD Infern line. They're better, stronger, and discard better. Also, what about Magmortar Lv. X? No Mag deck works without him. Less Smeargles, less Stantlers, they're not usefull when you get going. Might need more Arcanines, too.

...the smeargles have proven useful late-game... they're actually responsible for 25% of my wins...

the stantlers were there for the lack of a better card in my collection (which would explain the absence of Mag Lv. X and a second Arcanine...)

I also have NO access to MD as of yet... I'll try to get MD cards soon tho... this deck might be running a Leafeon Lv. X at that point...
 
Infercatty Decks are about the only really good use for Infernape. The only other thing is to add in a togekiss and go with that.
