Rhyperior & Mewtwo Tin Boxes

A German card shop has announced tin boxes featuring Rhyperior Lv.X and Mewtwo Lv.X. They'll be in stores at Sepember 15th, in case these are translated German versions, the English boxes should be released in the US a few days/weeks earlier.

The artwork seems to be the same as on the Japanese cards. So maybe they could be exclusive promos instead of only reprints (like in any Lv.X tin box before), which would mean DP - Legends Awakened does only have to feature 6 Lv.X cards.

WOW that is pretty amazing.

Now my theory is confirmed that every man and his grandma will be playing a Mewtwo deck.

Yay if AMU does get popular then I do know what I'm buying. Also at least the ryperior will be cheap. It's worth getting one just for fun.

wow, that's a surprise. I was expecting a PorygonZ, Garchomp, and Heatran tins. Then again, who wasn't expecting those.

The only plus side to this is that collector's now have a guaranteed chance of getting Mewtwo, unlike gardy, leafeon, and Glaceon.

Yessssss....... I neaded an easy way to get Mewtwo Lv.x! I have 3 Mewtwo's waiting to make a deck.

I don't dislike most of the moves PUI makes, however this is one of those that I don't really agree with. I seriously hate the tins. I don't like having "chaser" cards in tins. Maybe because I sell on ebay, but maybe it is because that so far out of the tins I have opened nearly 70-75% of the them with non-mint cards. I seriously think they need to find a new way to pacakge the tin cards.

This makes me think we won't be getting 8 lv.Xs in the next set.

This is awesome actually. I love the tins!

actually, i don't want AMU tins. call me crazy, but i am not playing AMU, so i really don't care. and ui don't want AMU all over the league i go to like empoleon is right now.

They really should've put the Pixie lv.xs in these. Now they are still going to be ridiculously expensive to get. They also would've made a nice set of three since there's usually three tins released together.
