Ok, so Angus is like 5-10 min from my house so I am good to go. I get there with a non-HEXed French Vanilla coffee and get my deck in. I will add up my list later. I play EmpoZong.

List:
3- Empoleon MD
2- Prinplup DP
2- Piplup MD (Flip for 10+10)
1- Piplup P6 (Same as DP)
2- Bronzong MD
2- Bronzor MD
1- Absol ex PK
1- Zapdos MD
2- Pachirisu GE
1- Holon's Castform

Will update with trainers and energy in an hour or two

We have an unusual small crowd so MA gets 3 rounder w/ top2:lol:

R1- VS. Josh Dent w/ Empo DP and stuff
I get a terrible hand (1 basic and 6 energy) and draw into a Wager. I win and get a Claydol running (RC FTW). I start to set up an Empoleon and a Zong, play a Crystal Beach and I use Pachy's Smash Short for a nice 70 (Cessation Crystal for the lose:lol:). I am ahead, time gets called but, we play it out for fun and I win. What really hurt Josh was the Wager loss with no energy:nonono:

R2- VS. Marcel Lesage...my dad:p w/ Plox + a Gyradoes tech
I get a T2 empoleon and proceed to Wager, win, and T3 donk him. Sorry dad but, I have to go tough as nails on yah:lol:

R3- VS. Curtis Cruise w/ Mag/Cress/Ban/Dol
I get spread out really fast and so does he. The problem is, his dol is prized:nonono: but, thats great for me. I spread around damage and surf together when I need to (Cresselia is pesky). I end up cornering him until he only has a Ban PK left. GG.

TC- VS. Marcel Lesage...my dad...AGAIN:p w/ Plox + a Gyradoes tech

G1- I get setup and he has nothing going for him after I get a Zong storm out. He scoops G1.

G2- He starts w/ a Karp and I with Pachy. He goes 1st and passes. I take my turn and smash him for 20. He evolves and uses flail for 50. I use CFF. He KOs me. I scramble an Empoleon and proceed to win. GG.

Well Congrats on winning Zack. Sorry I couldn't return to defend my Barrie area title. Had to go and watch the Jays get smoked by the Cubs.

Zach, i think i just caught your bluff!

I played it on the first battle road weekend that's the 24th of May. i would've played it at Skyfox but Curtis had first dibs on empoleon so i played it at North York. This is where i caught you. Your dad saw my deck and asked you quote on quote "Zach i asked you before about a Pokemon that does damage to Pokemon with Poke-Powers and you said there's only Aerodactyl and Shiftry" and you replied with "I didn't know about bronzong". You then told me that "I didn't think that Bronzong would be such a strong Pokemon"

So there you have it Zach, i caught you, you didn't think of the deck night before i played it :thumb:
 
Ummm... yah I did:lol: I jsut didn't work it out because I didn't have enough Empoleon. (I was going through Empoleon ideas). Geneses, you may have thought of the idea first but, I made it work the smoothest. My deck lays G&G plus almost every other archtype to rest. If you want to compare lists we can but, I don't care if you think it is your deck:p. You can take joy for that I won with "your idea" I guess? At least this is more rogue than my PLOX list:lol:

Hmmm, sounds impressive and all, but you have to be honest - the playing field was kinda small - 14 people in all age groups. If I had been playing, I probably could have cleaned up with a Darkrai deck - or a Chatot deck! LOL. Just kidding. Congrats anyway.
 
Garret: At least you think Chatot is good:lol: BTW, I still think my deck is good because it can beat alot of other Top Tier decks (G&G, PLOX, Mag, Infernape, etc.) It has a tough time versus Dusknoir but, I will tech against it:p
