It's alright but not that great.... At least it still a good starter if you are doing a metal based deck.

It's an OK card. The attacks are pretty normal for a Basic Legend. The Orb is very nice, if only things were weak to it...
Weakness, OK. Resistance to Psychic is always good. But the retreat is just... o_O I've always been intrigued by the
LV X, but I don't think it'll see much play. Palkia>Dialga

4.5/10

i dont like it., any dialga deck shouldnt even play this one. i mean if u have no cards it can help but the dp and ge one is better. still pretty decent for a basic.
4/10

I don't like this card. It is good for trading, though.

2/10

100 HP for a basic is an outstanding number.

Add Special Metal Energy and you have quite a barrier.

The "Professor Birch" attack is just okay.

The 3 retreat cost and a requirement of 4 energies to perform a damage attack is a pretty lofty cost.

If you have a reliable mechanic that would enable you to easily move Dialga around, he might be playable for some decks. That's a lot of work in my opinion to use this fine piece of artwork, but below average Pokemon.

3/10

Oh hey, if you rate this one's artwork alone, it can't be lower than 8/10 in my opinion. It isn't all that great by itself really, but I think it looks really cool!

it might be good in a dialga deck.
6/10 in dialga deck
other deck: you don't even want to know...

The olny thing this guy has going for it is its first attack, if your using a steel deck or multi energy, and great damage against Glaceon; in any other case this guy is terrible.

3/10

Actuall Value
3/10

Artwork:
9/10

Ofcourse, all the juniors think he's 10/10 >.> I saw like 10 Dailagas/Palkia's in decks at one battle roads.

In this format, its not practical, a huge lump of retreat keeps him from ever getting off the field and metal decks haven't hit hard (yet).

In this current format: 3/10.

With the occurance of next set, Dialga becomes a pain in the butt with his huge HP's (100), the ability to refresh your hand (Looking at you, Wager/Mars/Absol), and psychic resistance (lol's at early pixies, Mewtwo and Plox). If you're constantly getting cards out of your hand, then this guy is great. Mix him with Magnezone for the free retreat in deck and you have a drawing attacker that could be just as efficient as Holon's Castform if played properly. Think about it, cleaning out your hand of things you can dump and completely replenishing it. It gets you to that critical supporter/trainer you need that much faster.

As a stall and wall in next format for Magnezone Level X, this guy is supreme.

8/10 with next set. (But only for metal decks.)

Lets see: It has an attack that does what Claydol does. Its 2nd is way over priced. Its item is useless since you probably won't be doing damage with it anyway. There are like a 977285732 better choices for a starter. Naki Feralkin has a point for next season with Manezone Lv.X being released and all. But there are still better choices for starters. And considering Chaydol does what he dose with just a power. 1.5/10 with better starter options I will not play this card and pretty much everyone else won't either.

The only good thing about this Dialga are its HP.
60-80 for four energy isn't very effective, and Time Shift can't be considered as a good starting attack. The effect by itself may be decent, but it needs colored energy and Dialga has 3 retreat.

Dialga Lv.X also isn't very interesting, and even if someone wants to play it, he would rather use the DP Dialga as base level form.

HP-on Modified: 1/10
DP-on Modified: 2/10 (since there are no DRE and Scramble anyway, and some more decks like Magnezone where it could be played in)
Limited: 6/10 (good card, but high retreat is evil)
Unlimited: 1/10

Despite the hatred I feel towards all Metal Pokemon other than Bastiodon and Probopass, this is cerainly the best Dialga to use if you are desperate to make a Dialga Level X deck. It is better than the Diamond and Pearl version certainly, due to a gigantic 100 HP, a resistance to Psychic and the brilliant attack Time Shift. The retreat cost is appalling for a basic Pokemon, although the picture is simply awesome!
However I won't be playing this card in any of my decks, because Adamant Orb is nearly useless, hardly anything in the Modified Format is weak to Metal type. If you like the attack Time Shift you should use Claydol (GE) in your deck instead of Dialga as it has essentially the same effect, except it doesn't cost a Metal Energy and does not end your turn because it is a Poke-Power. Finally, why would anybody rate the Diamond Blast attack highly, when cards such as Porygon Z, Garchomp, Feraligatr, Salamence, Dusknoir and Infernape are more powerful and have cheaper attack costs.
Palkia, as well as almost all of the other legendaries in Majestic Dawn, are so much better than this.
Does anybody agree with my observations?

Fire type pokemon are awesome :fire: :fire: :fire: :fire: :fire: :fire:

The artwork rocks, but this card ruins the basic idea of Dialga LVX. The idea being that if you are out of options, then you use Time Skip and hope you get lucky to shut your opponent down next turn. But with this dialga, you will almost always have the ability to do his first attack, which defeats the purpose of needing the cool escape route. @_@

25/100

First off, let's compare it to our only alternative Dialga, from DP/GE.

displayimage.php

Dialga MD has a few advantages stats-wise over it's previous version(s). 10 more HP, and the use of Adament Orb (weakness does 20+ more) add a few perks, but that alone isn't much. Also, keep in mind that not much is weak to :metal:. You won't get to use Adament Orb often. :frown:
But that extra :colorless in the retreat cost is sure going to be a pain...
Both have weakness of :fire:+20 (let's face it, all the big fire attacks would KO it anyways), and a resistance of :psychic:-20 is always good against Gardy.

Now attackwise, they're also relativly equal.
Time Shift and Time Bellow both have similar effects. Draw a card and do 10 damage, and draw untill you have 6 cards. Time Shift (MD version) is probably better in most cases, but not every deck has a very small hand for long.
Again, we see how attacks have different uses. Diamond Blast needs one more energy, but does either 20 or 40 more than Flash Cannon. But removing energy with Flash Cannon will de-evolve, doing the equivlent of 20 to 40 more damage, and the Defending Pokemon loses it's best attacks.

Overall, I'd say run one of each. But why run a Pokemon that is kindof lousy? Well... there's always Dialga Lv.X...
