Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

RayRay

do you guys think RayRay(Rayquaza EX D) will make a showing in decks at nationals?
Ive been testing it and it seems like it is still a good tech to use....
Thoughts?

Well, for a 110 HP EX, its NOT that bad, but still 2 Prizes is kinda BAD. IF you run into a Cressilia deck, Dont get stuck with the Moon Skip for 3 Prizes, that is a HORRIBLE Slump to recover!!!

Well unless its a 3-2 count with two out and the bases loaded and a three run lead then your probably fine. I wonder how many people will understand that one. I would say its decent except that so many decks now can snipe the bench and its two prizes.

Darn... you beat me to it.

I don't think its worth using as it gives up 2 prizes.

is that cuz its in edgar?? lolz </3

hmmm Rayquaza would be good for decks that spread, like bronzong decks or glaceon type decks
Lol, no. Its a reference to the Orioles pitcher Chris Ray, his nickname is RayRay so I couldn't resist.

The Orioles aren't even real, so why reference a non-existant person? I could reference edgar right here but I don't feel like proving my own point. Anyways, rayray is a nono nowadays.

What?!?! The Baltimore Orioles are a ML Baseball team in the AL east. Chris Ray is on their 40 man roster on the 60 day DL. Don't believe me? Go to www.orioles.com and find it.

Maybe you should do some research before makeing a statemet like that as it makes you look extreamly foolish.

Enough already, just wish the Orioles would win a few more games.

Rayquaza ex d could be good early or late game, but I mean against heavy hitters, it might not do much.
It falls into a similar category as Absol ex, strong ex-- might be playable, but not the main attacker.

I used him in my Speed Trode deck, but wasn't doing enough for me even with the disruption-- he's not as good when you're losing as he used to be, because when he's gone- it's usually game over from then on. 2 for 70 is OK, but when you're losing you want a bigger comeback.

there's this thing, it's called sarcasm..

Sometimes I feel like you lack the ability to detect humor. Though he is right, the orioles aren't real, it's just a part of your imagination.

Ray is a nice tech if you can fit it in a spread deck. Let them ko your spreader(Glaceon, Bronzong, Empoleon) and then come up and wack em for a ko. It's hp is nice and its no weakness is cool beanz.

OK everyone, keep the discussion on the card and stay clear of SPAM or personal attacks or infractions will be issued.

I think it will be used to kill empoleon and other water decks. It is quiet a powerful card with 110HP and no weakness. He can kill all those support pokemon that are in bench and nowadays everyone has one of them. Getting a RAY ex out early can ruin your opponent's setup and combined with a wager he can pawn your opponent(if you get a good start too).

Combined with scramble to try and benefit from the ex-rule could work out pretty well.
