Strategy/tech to beat leafeon lv.x?

My spread empoleon deck beaten badly two-three times by my friend that use leafeon lv.x.

What's he used that time:
-premier ball
-espeon( +20 hp)
-umbreon( 0 weakness and retreat cost)
-2 leafeon lv.x
-sceptile

The main problem is how fast he set up and attach energy(energy forcing poke-body) and he can easily get his damage high enough to 1 hit OHKO empoleon.

I'm thinking omastar(untested) and cessation crystal (can't used again for modified after september though)

Thank you in advance for you help, everyone.

Warp point can be very helpful.

If you have a good Empoleon deck and a bit of skill it's not too hard to beat a Leafeon deck. Obviously the resistance is very hard to overcome. If you go for the bench though you can bypass it. If you can outplay your opponent by using disruption tactics with Warp points and 'The Omastar trick" you can often win.

You lose it, Leafeaon Lv.X is too much for Empoelon, if you are waned to you can use someting like Omastar+Warp Point combo to take it down...

Crystal Shard helps slam it with surf together. also ive seen one kid tech a dusknoir, and when he got it out he just wiped away the leafs and spreaded on the rest.

I have a super tech against it... but I don't want to tell, as I'm using it at nats... sorry. (It wouldn't work in a empoleon deck, though.)[If you want to know, PM me, and I'll see if I want to tell you.]

I'd try teching in Infernape or Magmortar if you want to go on the offensive, and Dusknoir (as previously stated) or Omastar if you wanted to be more disruptive. Also note that you can still 2HKO Leafeon with Surf Together very easily.

Sooo . . . to reiterate, your so-called "super tech" supposedly works against Leafeon, but you're not going to tell us exactly WHAT it is, just that there is one . . . oh, and the tech doesn't even work in EMPOLEON, the deck that the OP was ASKING for help on, but it works in the deck that YOU use, the name of which you will not disclose, either..

My questions: What's your point? Should we even care? Why post that in the first place?

I played Bronzong in my Empoleon at our Nationals. It's not actually a tech against Leafeon but makes the matchup a bit easier. When Empoleon is knocked out, Bronzong does 80 using a Scramble and twice the Body. After that you can easily finish it off with another attack of Bronzong, Surf Together or Warp Point and snipe.

LatiLock is another option, but it only stops Sceptile and Support Eeveelutions. It also causes problems against Dusknoir decks.

You also could try Milotic GE tech. It's immune to Pokémon-Lv.X and can discard energy, but only does 30 damage to Leafeon which is a little low.

Not easily. It's possible, but happens quite rarely. First time it uses Leaf Guarde so you do 60 dmg with a full bench and no DRE. Second time Empoleon is knocked out, if you get another one with Scramble etc. that fast you can KO it back. In case you have DRE you won't be able to 2HKO a Leafeon (with Espeon) even with a full bench. Same is if your opponent plays stuff like Dawn Stadium or Buffer Piece.

Warp Point Omastar.
Leafeon Lv X becomes much less of a threat when its an eevee, and becomes DEAD when Empoleon looks at it and says "IMMA PENGUIN FOO" and levels up to kill it.

Warp point and omastar work very well, just make sure to spread lots of damage on your opponent's pokemon so you might kill more than 1 with his power. If you have empoleon Lv.X you can K.O leafeon while he is in the bench(if he has already 30 damage).Just use warp point to bench him.

However it's quiet hard to hold ground against leafeon with empoleon.

Cessation Crystal with a 2-1-2 Omastar line. I use 2-1-2 Omastar becasue i can waste 1 for early devastation and the second for last minute prizes. A good idea is to spread damage on Umbreon and other benched Eeveeloutions and Omastar for K.o.s and no free retreat.

or they could attach 3 pp's and a lake boundary to OHKO gardy...after that they use 3 old rod's to get back the pp's....then they use them again......then you use The Lighter to "burn" up your victory!
