How do you make a custom Avatar?

You need to be a moderator or wait until the custom avatar day. And another custom avatar day may not come for a few years, or who knows, maybe never. So far there have only been two custom avatar days.

^ Yes, hence my ultra-leet, self-drawn, last-minute Happy Pikachu Skipping Along a Grassy Meadow Next to a River with a Happy Shiny Sun and Big Fluffy Cloudie in the Sky avatar.

Unlike the Secret brand ladies' deodorant, my leetsauce Pikachu avatar is both strong enough for a man AND made for a man, rather than being strong enough for a man yet made for a woman.

My avatar was strong enough to take down a fire dog stronger than Entei. But still got beaten hand-to-hand by a guy who recurs in way too many of the games.

The last avatar day also made me learn basic Photoshop in about a week. So let's not say that these days aren't good for education.

Lol. They should just make a 'sticky' thread about custom avatars. This has been asked soooo many times.
Someone made a FAQ on avatars that requested a sticky (I think it was Absoltrainer), but it never got stickied.... so it just sank.

It was absoltrainer and they didn't stickie because people need to have common since to look on the faq

^ I didn't even know that Pokegym even had a FAQ before that thread, and I'm a very active member and that little tool bar there with the FAQ link totally passed my eyes after visiting the site so many times. I'd say most new people don't see it either based on how many of these threads there are. I'm not sure if Pokegym does this or not, but when a new member signs up, I think it should redirect them to the FAQ page so that stuff like this doesn't keep happening since that FAQ page is so hidden.

My avatar is so pretty, none of you deserve to see it.

Also, wait until custom avatar day (probably sometime next year).

I like it!!!

Oh boy, custom avatar day, I know it takes so much resources, brain power, skill for a forum to have such privileges to be the onlyonly that doesn't allow their members to change their avatars on a regular basis.:biggrin::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I went up to look at the FAQ link and noticed that the 'Gym has Blogs. I had no idea.

Blogs, eh? I'd read it, but I stay away from blogging like the plague. I enjoy my IQ.

Also any kind of poking around with the system will quickly show that custom avatars require special days. It's not rocket surgery or brain science here.
