As Nats is still going on, I will update this as needed.

I arrive Wednesday and go pick up my badge. I have no need to register for the main event, because in on judge staff.

On Thursday, that is our first staff day. I get chosen to staff the 2nd shift and get to be the Seniors HJ for the 11 am modified. Then i get to judge some of the 8 man pickup events.

Friday is the professor Cup. I choose to play venomoth/parasect. I get off to a great start and go 2-0, then i lose 2, win 1, and lose 1, and win 1, and lose the last round, going 4-4.

Congrats to Bullados for winning the prof cup!!!

Saturday is day 1 of Nats. This is also a day of no return for me (I will explain later) Anyways, we play 2 rounds and have lunch. then it was 4 more rounds and then a dinner break. then 3 more rounds before the "T64"

Now its time for my day of no return. I have been dating my girlfriend for 2 years now, and Just last month I bought the ring to give to her. During Round 4 We get Erin (a_shy_girl_1999) to come to the Nats desk for a job to do. When she gets there, I get on my knee and propose to her!!!

Congrats to both of you Duke. It was a really cool moment at Nats.

I hope you both stay happy and in love. Just remember, have the wedding at World's, BDS can preside over the ceremony.

OMG Duke....that was TOTALLY cool how you did it! I wasnt sure if she was gonna faint or say yes...lol I was Deck Checking at the time & didnt see the 1st part of it but what I did see, I was a little nervous, for the both of you...lol It gave me chills & she is very lucky to have a proposal as such, it was so AWESOME! I was in tears...sappy moment here, sorry!
Im really happy it turned out well & thanks for sharing that special moment with all of us!
