Disscus!

NOTE:This is the first DP set to have a Trainer/Supporter/Stadium as the prerelease promo!

Now my 6 Japanese Bucks can shine!

Interesting. Too bad we can't play this in the main event =[
I don't like that they mention prizes at prereleases. You get the same thing everyone else is getting.

Exactly! Except that the winner gets a pin with the set name on it.:p

A card and 2 booster packs is not huge prize support didn't we used to get loads of boosters packs or has it all changed since i last did one (DP)

Fair enough i just seem to remember there being lots of prize support for the DP one, also is $25 what most people in US charging for one of these as that seems really cheap (bout £12.50) but thats just me
a supporter as a prerelease card is really cool though makes a change from a pokemon you prob wont use

List of Prerelease promos from DP- sets.

LA- Buck's Training
MD- Mothim
GE- Porygon-2
SW- Kirlia
MT- Gabite
DP- Luxio

The previous sets may not have been that useful, but this time we get a card that could be in most
trainer engines.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

cool. is it legal to play LA cards at worlds?

No.

They are officially released on the 20th, days after the main event at worlds.

An introduction to the procedures of tournament play. Though these are entry level events, and there are no prizes, it still exposes the newer players to how tournament play works in the Pokemon TCG. Also, if there wasn't a tournament, it would basically be the same thing as selling the product, and that's not fun at all.

True! I have ordered 1 box of Each Japanese set of DP5, but Pre-Relases let you go out and be able to Get things you NEED early!

Wow, I like the pre-release card. I'll be sure to go to 2 pre-realeases again like I did last year.

However I am starting to get mad with pokemon for lowering their prize support, not even just with pre-releases
