What cards could you see comboing with this card, which would obviously not be a main attacker? I think this deck could do well at at least Autumn Battle Roads next season. I think it would run well with Leafeon Lv. X, with which you could spread energies around your Pokemon, with the addition of MD Mewtwo's Energy Absorption, and then do heavy damage once and a while with Giga Burn after hitting heavily with Leafeon.

Discuss.

Nothing,it would just be a tech for stalling sometimes it seemed. You could throw it in GG/PLOX decks or even the Sprites.

This is next Season, PLox and GG will be nothing to worry about to me. I consider it as a tech and not a main attacker, mostly. Maybe in Kingdra or Beedrill or something.

^ It one hits the A, M, and U in AMU and forces them unable to attack. It rules out decks like Groudonk, Darkrai, and Rayquaza, which I KNOW will be fairly popular next year.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

I know it wont be anything to worry about, but that dosent mean people wont play the deck.

Not as in barely anyone will be playing it, I just mean it won't be nearly as good as it is now to worry about losing to.

Yes, but any deck with basic would tech agaisnt it, so why even bother having it? You MIGHT play agasint those decks, but theres a good chance you wont. Then you are stuck with a useless card in your deck, that isn't even that good against the decks you mentioned. Even if it takes them a turn or two to get the Mewtwo counter out, they can always warp point and get one of you benched pkmn. I really just see Mewtwo as a wast of space in almost all decks.

I figured AMU would use Gardevoir as either a tech or a support line for acceleration, and that could put a damper on Mewtwo Lv.X.

dusknoir looks promising to me, since its second attack stalls cards with low energy costs, like kingdra. mewtwo lv x's attack has a hefty cost but can be helpful for OHKOs, making up for duknoir IFDS's somewhat weak attack. also mewtwo's pokebody makes it a great defense against darkrai, which could be a threat to dusknoir.

or you could just play machamp...

and lay the smackdownnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

seriously, AMU will play Froslass or something of the sort, and Groudonk... don't even go there.
