You have to have 60 cards in a deck is wat he is saying.

If that is true, then he has to read my post again.
I'm not done with the deck, i just posted a rough basis.
The reason for this topic is that i'm asking help on what to run with Garchomp.

Dont Worry, i found it hard to put a good chomp list together. I Will Help With Your list

Pokemon -20

4-2-3-1 Chomp LV-X
1-1 Claydol
2 Phione Evo Wish
1 Rotom
1 Unkown Q
1-0-1 Dusknoir
1 Empoleon
1 Ampharos

Tariners - 24

4 Felicities
4 Candy
4 bebes
4 Roseannes
4 Plus Power
2 Lake Boundary
2 warp Point

Energies - 16

4 Lighting
3 Psy
2 Fire
1 Metal
1 Dark
2 Fighting
1 Water
1 Grass

Try Experimenting around with that for a while allthough the key to this deck is really the techs.

Emmpoleon Is Allways Good
Ampharos Is Alright

I've been running:

3-2-3-1 Garchomp w/ Lv. X
3-2-3 Togekiss
2-2 Furrett

It's been working pretty good but i'm going to try a 2-2 Claydol in place of the furrett and see how that works. I need to try and find a pokemon to throw in and utilize Restore, who knows it might be awesome :p.I'm 6-3 at league with it so far.

I think if you don't run Togekiss w/ Garchomp you will get outsped by other decks. You can run the new Phione w/ Evolution Wish atk, but it would only be good if you had it out in the first 1-3 turns.

my friend is playing this version now :

3 phione MD
3-2-3-1 garchomp lv.x
2-2 bronzong mt
1 azelf la
2 empoleon md
2 ampharos sw

-----------

azelf 70hp [P]
basic pokemon
Poke-Power: Time Walk
You can use this Power once during your turn, when you play this card from your hand onto your Bench. Look at all of your face-down Prize cards, then return them face-down. If you'd like, you may choose 1 Pokemon card out of those Prize cards, show it to your opponent, and put it in your hand. If you do, choose 1 card from your hand and play it face-down as a Prize card.

[P] Imprison: 20 damage. The Defending Pokemon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn.

Weakness: Psychic (+20)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Thanks for all the great help guys.

The Machampion-
I was thinking of using Ampharos right from the start.
But i kinda forgot to put that in my first post.
But i'm almost anti-Empoleon, i can't stand that thing.
Prehaps i can switch Empoleon with Gallade.

Noir-
This deck solves the main problem.
All i realy need is something that can help me attach energys alot faster.
I'm going to test this next week if i can get another Togekiss.
2 Togekiss wouldn't cut it...

Lloyd-
Thanks for the reply, but i'm not realy willing to make a restore-based deck.
I'm keeping that in mind anyway if all else fails.

Once again, thanks to everyone for the help.

I would play
3-2-3-1 Garchomp
2-1-2 Kiss
2-2 Claydol
1 or 2 techs
3 pachi

I don't think you need more than 2 kiss especially if you play SSU. 2-2 claydol is needed though. Also I would play at least 1 tech becasue it just helps.

Well, i'm planning to play Garchomp for a while now.
I usually like to make my own decks, but i'm thinking about this for days already.
Honestly i have no clue what to play together with Garchomp.
After looking at some other topics i saw alot play Garchomp together with Delcatty, but i'm not planning on using restore too much.

Of course i'm playing Claydol, but what else?
Would Rotom (Dual trans) and Felicity's drawing work well?
I'm not making this deck around Garchomp Lv.X's restore, but i could add in a Gallade and Dusknoir to help me out of some tight situations.
This is what i have so far:

4x Gible
2x Gabite
3x Garchomp
1x Garchomp Lv.X
2x Baltoy
2x Claydol

4x Rosanne
3x Rare candy
4x Celio
4x Bebe's search
2x Windstorm
4x Pluspower

That's all for now.
Prehaps i'm throwing in 2-3 Lake boundary because not a single person plays Colorless pokemons around my area.
Any tips or improvements are greatly appreciated.

Well, 4 Celio's AND 4 Bebe's isn't ideal... I'd choose one or the other, its personal preference really, unless you add Flygon ex d.

Well, I think there are a couple ways you could go about this w/o going the "Restore" route.
I am only farmiliar with the Toge/Chomp way though.

Pokemon: 24
3-2-3-1 Garchomp
3-1-3 Togekiss
2-2 Claydol
4 Pachirisu

Energy: 16
Assortment of Energy according to Metagame, but with Togekiss, you should use at least 16.

Trainers: 20
4 Celio's/Bebe's
4 Rare Candy
2 Steven's Advice
2 Copycat
2 Warp Point
3 Crystal Beach
1 Windstorm
2 Roseanne's

Well, I don't like Roseanne's much in a Togekiss deck, because I prefer to keep the energy in the deck for Serene Grace, but it is helpful when looking for the right energy or Baltoy.
Good luck.

Here's a list I wrote up for Hp-on Togechomp.

Pokemon: 20
4 Gible MT
2 Gabite MT
3 Garchomp MT
1 Garchomp Lv X
2 Togepi GE
1 Togetic GE
2 Togekiss GE
2 Baltoy GE
2 Claydol GE
1 Tech - Ampharos SW/Gallade/Kabutops/etc

Energy: 18
4 Psychic
4 Lightning
2 Water
2 Fighting
2 Grass
2 Fire
1 Dark
1 Metal

Trainers: 22
3 Roseanne’s Research
4 Celio’s Network
4 Felicity’s Drawing
1 Team Galactic’s Wager
4 Rare Candy
3 Crystal Beach
2 Windstorm
1 Warp Point
1 Premier Ball
1 Night Maintenance

The energy should be tweaked for your metagame, but as a template, it's pretty good.

garchomp plays very well with the porgyon line so I would add 4-3-4 or 4-3-3-1. the reason this works so well a because they can both become whatever energy you discard. I do not think that 4 cello 4 bebes is too much; I play 4 cello 4 Bebes 4 fossil excavator in my deck. but this only works if you play it as the focus of your search engine

I'm a bit too lazy to respond to every individual post right now, excuse me.

I already made my mind on the tech, which will be Ampharos.
1-0-1 Dusknoir also sounds nice, but i'm scared i will overload my deck if i put that in too.

This is the first time i'm using a Level. X pokemon, so here is a small newbie question.
You are not allowed to draw a level. X pokemon from your deck with Celio right?
If not, then i might throw in a Premier ball.

Crystal Beach is going to be hard to trade in my area, but 2-3 of those sound good to throw in too.
I'm keeping atleast 3 Roseanne’s Research in my deck to look up the energy i need.

Special thanks to pokmeman for pointing out that 4/4 celio and bebe was realy too much.
I always tend to throw too many search cards in a deck hoping it would speed it up.

I already have a vague idea about what energys i will use.
Both Empoleon and Gardevior/Gallade are being played like mad in my area.
All i saw that was not one of those decks is 1 Infernape/Magmortar.

Posting/updating my decklist in about 1 hour.

Celio/Bebe CAN grab Lv X's.

Celio has been "errated" to mean 'Pokemon not including -ex.' On EX-series cards, when a card says "Basic and Evolution" means "Pokemon Card."

1 Premier Ball is good anyway, as it is not a supporter, and can grab from the discard.

EDIT:
I can trade about any card i need/want for my deck, but here are some things i have access to right now that might be usefull to throw in this deck:
3x Phione
3x Pachirisu
3x Rotom
3x Porygon-Z
2x Togekiss

Here is my decklist for now:

Pokemon: 20
4x Gible MT
2x Gabite MT
3x Garchomp MT
1x Garchomp Lv X
2x Togepi GE
1x Togetic GE
2x Togekiss GE
2x Baltoy GE
2x Claydol GE
1x Ampharos/Dusknoir, i might switch these around depending on my opponent.
Using Ampharos in tourneys and such.

Trainers: 22
1x Warp Point
1x Premier Ball
1x Night Maintenance
4x Celio’s Network
4x Felicity’s Drawing
4x Rare Candy
2x Crystal Beach
3x Roseanne’s Research
2x Windstorm

Energy: 18
5x Lightning
4x Psychic
2x Water
2x Grass
2x Fire
1x Fighting
1x Dark
1x Metal
(Still not sure about that one Fighting energy, not a single person plays a pokemon with a Fighting weakness in my area.
Not only that, 95% of the people here play Empoleon, another Lightning energy can help alot).

Any constructive criticism is highly appreciated.

I have been messing around with different starters for Chomp, and I have found an interesting one in Munchlax DP.

Heave is an intersting attack and can do dual purpose.. get those cards in the discard early on, possible 60 damage first turn!

Just a thought... otherwise I ma noticing CHomp decks are dependant on the Metagame in your area as for the techs.

Amphy seems to be a staple but there is another some overlook IMHO, Bronzong MD. THe Pain Amplifier and the sweetness of Pain Amplifier is just wrong! Gallade is also great as you can Cut for the OHKO and then Blade things back for Pain Amp.

GL on it and SOTG!

Fish

You are right.

I did have 24 there. My bad, it was a rough list I drew up a while ago, and never checked it thoroughly.

-1 Roseanne's and -1 Energy :)fighting: or :psychic: would probably be my change)

Sorry about that...

MrMeches-

Munchlax is interesting, but i think i'm fine pokemon-wise.
I'm keeping this one in mind though, thanks for the tip!
Bronzong just isn't going to work with all the Gardevoirs running around here.
All the Gardevoir players here also play Pluspower, so i doubt i can get more then 1 Pain amplifier in.
Afcourse his body is decent, but i rather Restore an Ampharos to the field.

Sandslash7-

Mistakes happen ;)
I'm not removing Rosanne just because of the build-in energy search effect.
But i'm not a fan of Galactic's wager, so i fixed it by removing that one.
That Crystal beach i removed still doesn't feel right, 2 stadiums won't be enough considering everyone else here plays 3 stadiums.
I'll brainstorm about the energys for a while.
The steel energy is pretty useless at the moment too.
1 person at the moment playing Glaceon.

I use:

3-2-3-1 Garchomp
2-1-2 Togekiss
2-2 Claydol
1-0-1 Duskinor
2 Pachi

It works well and fast.
