special energy card searching

does anyone know of a way to search your deck and/or discard pile for special energy cards, specificaly special metal ones? A stadium or trainer would be best but a pokepower would be nice too. I play unlimited so it doesn't have to be a D&P card

I don't think there's anything that searches for Special Energies from the deck or discard specifically. Closest thing I can think of is the trainer Energy Charge, but I think that's a flip (or 2). Use Computer Search to search Special Energy from your deck.

Honchcrow can get any card back from the discard with its second attack.

Yes, Darkrai's attack Reach Over willl let you search your deck for any Energy card for no energy at all! This could potentially be a great starter for decks with DRE. Just play a moonlight stadium and retreat for free, then proceed to murder the enemy with an even quicker PLOX/GG. It works pretty well!

Aggron(MT) lets you shuffle Metal Energy into your deck.

I know it sounds like an odd idea, but gabite has an attack "take 2 ENERGYS from your discard pile and put them into your hand. Sounds like an energy restorer worth considering a 2-2 of.

Yeah, Reach Over Darkrai appears to be the smartest tech choice. Plus, it also gets Call Energy.

Its for unlimited. :/ Computer Search, Rocket's Expermiment, Metagross DX, Pidgeot FRLG, and Magcargo Smooth over. I think theres a furret that has a power that gets energy, but has to shuffle in 2 cards from your hand, making it a below-average power.

Getting cards from the discard pile... Swampert ex can do that, and for a short time I used Pichu from Holon Phantoms to do that in my Metagross deck, but the downside of those are that they end your turn. MT Aggron can put them back into your deck, but again it's part of an attack.

I'm thinking that, depending on how fast you want it attached, either Swampert ex or Gabite would be your best bet.
