BRONZONG!!! blow trode against gardy and then bring up bronzong and bam gardy's dead in between turns. i SWEAR it won Nats!!!!! ;P

I actualy made a deck with Bedrill. I call it Lightning Bugs. Voltorb/Electrode early take outs, then once I have some Bedril on the bench go forward. Right now I debating whether is Phione or Pachi is the best starter as both are very nice in this deck.

Electrode works well with Houndoom (Great Encounters). Electrode counters the water pokemon, while accelerating energy attachments for Houndoom's attack.

I've looked at all possibilities for electrode. Dusclops is my favorite. It keeps your opponent from attaching special energies to their "Response Pokemon". Dusknoir of course benefits from the quick prize exchanges and limits your opponents bench.

As far as Stage 1 Pokemon go, Sharpedo is boss. Resistance to psychic. Free Retreat. OHKO's Bannette. Puts two damage counters on any Pokemon that attacks him. This could be very important for setting up the next OHKO with electrode.

Pokemon who COULD work with an electrode.

Basic:
- Shuckle
- Mr.Mime
- Celebi*
- Ray EXd
- Zapdos?
- Miltank

Stage 1:
- Gyarados
- Sharpedo SW+++++
- Bronzong
- Dusclops CG!!!!
- Skiploom
- Glaceon LV x
- Wailord?
- Wigglytuff cg
- Wormadam Mothim Stuff

Stage 2:
- Dusknoir!!!!
- Jumpluff.
- Slakings
- Kabutops?
- Flygon SW or EXd?

Since I've been looking at every card I have to point out how bad one is. Staraptor is the worst card ever made EVAR!

Great deck idea. I'm stealing it.

Can you say "Kingdra pwnage?"

I'd only want to add that Rotom (Majestic Dawn) works well with Electrode and might even make Rayquaza ex d playable with him.

"would you guys please explain how bannette would work and how well it would do in the grinder? (seniors) "

I would probably say that it could do cheap damage for an energyless attack with Banette. You can discard Banette with a Lunatone (Great Encounters). Electrode can be used for back-up.
There's a deck-list somewhere here on the PokeGym.

Any more advice? Today is the last day I can accept it for the grinder.

I sent you a pm a few days ago have you read it? uggh

21
4-3 trode
4-4 bannette
2-3 claydol(To get claydol in hand more consistantly)
1 holons castform(once you bomb a trode you attach and evolve another trode)

24
4 Celio
4 Mentor
4 Masterball
4 TVR
1 TSD
1 nm
3 lake boundary
1 Castaway
2 Strength charm

15
4 DRE
3 Multi
6 psychic
2 electric

It is very consistant and hard hitting. This 80-20 empo and has a 50-50 gg matchup. Consider 1-1 weavile or warp points to help against dusknoir or possibly unown g.

Wood811- I got your Pm. Thank you.

But there's one final debate. Should I play electrode with Lucario or bannette?

yeah. trode is good. Like alex said. Sharpedo works really well with him. Gallades a pain against most things like that though. Stage ones die to easily to them.
