The League Ordering Website now has listed details on the first session of the new season.

Is listed as GRASS ENERGY SEASON.

More details to follow! WOW! Here we go!

Grass huh? I rather like Psy first and grass has to wait until like novemeber or feburary... lol . Bah.
 
I was going to report that earlier today as well, but MY grass was calling me! 2 acres of push lawnmower (my riding lawnmower is not going to get a part for 2 weeks)

I only saw that it was called grass season as well. I guess we have to wait and see about what's involved.

Awww c'mon. I can mow my 1 acre lawn in less than an hour with my push lawnmower and that's without self-propel ;x
 
Maybe so, but I have hills, trees, shrubs, ornaments, outbuildings, and grass over 8 inches tall. Even when it is trimmed as it should, it takes a full 6 hours by a riding mower. In 5 hours of push mowing (without self-propel), I finished off about 20%. It's gonna be a long weekend!

As for grass season - I'm sure POP has some great new ideas in store but we'll just have to wait and see.

they need to do the whirl islands.
maybe it will be like the type seasons back in wotc.
no badges, just cards.
 
I agree with PkmnManiac. I run a league and all my players LOVE the badges. They were excited when I showed up last week with the badges for the seasons we missed.

This is incorrect. After Johto, WotC then went to the "Energize Your Game" cycle, where there were no badges. The top prize was the season's holographic energy card. League without badges continued until Nintendo took over and started the Hoenn cycle. Since then, League has continued having badges.

I thought we would go for a Johto revisit. Johto always seems to get left out/forgotten. Nobody liketh Johto :rolleyes:

no more redos please we already did kanto TWICE
(even though the badges were cooler)
WHIRL ISLANDS were NEVER done.
They aren't part of the video game though.
 
You mean Orange Islands which was only 4 badges. Whirl Islands was only a side-quest in the anime with no badges just a tournament.

Orange Islands are requested a lot but its been mentioned how they can't do stuff from the anime, that they have to do stuff from the current games. I think they also said they couldn't do original badges not in the games or anime.


So if they remake Johto in the DS I'm sure we'll get re-do's of the Johto badges. This Grass season doesn't seem interesting but hopefully I'm proven wrong when we find out more about it. Personally I really liked what they did with the Victory Road back then as "filler" before the Johto badges back in the day of WOTC.

they can't do anime stuff, that's lame really.
being that I am a huge fan of the Anime (well I watch the Japanese version now)
(Can't stand the Enlgish voice changes)
