When it comes to Basic Pokémon, they rarely come more powerful than the Legendary Giratina (Legends Awakened, 4/146). Although Giratina could start off a battle in the Active position, it may be wise to put Giratina on the Bench to give yourself time to power up its Brutal Edge attack. Brutal Edge requires 2 Psychic Energy and 2 Colorless Energy to activate, but the stiff Energy cost is certainly worthwhile. The attack is brutal indeed—inflicting 50 damage and 10 more damage for each damage counter on the defending Pokemon. Considering Giratina's hefty 100 HP, this renegade Pokémon can take out the heaviest of hitters with one vicious blow.​

Very cool, however I think the fact that it is indeed a basic and that it needs 4 energy for an attack that is amazing will limit it's ability to be playing.

The official website tries to make it sound awesome when it really isn't.
 
I think that somebody needs to re-read the card (NOT YOU, Pokedaddy). This isn't Rage. This is more Meditate.

Don't understand the reference....

On topic, don't be too quick to judge this card. 2x weak to darkness, OK. CCPP for it's second attack.

If you think about this late game, when every Poke on your opponents field is full of damage, it could potentially be used as a sweeper. It seems that with the DP on sets, energy acceleration is going to be prevalent thus balancing the format from the loss of DRE, Scramble, and Boost.

I am not saying that this card will break the format, I am saying, keep an open mind.
 
Lol. Notice how on the actual card brutal edge says plus damage for each damage counter on the defending pokemon, but in the text above the card it says to add damage for each damage counter on Giratina. POP made a typo.
 
Awesome card. I think another card combo with any current empoleon or split damage card.

Thank you, PUI, for printing this card! I finally have the perfect final piece to my "Wait, the fact that I built a deck around this card shows that I'm an idiot, even more so than PUI, who thinks this card is GODLY" combo.
 
Because its a computer generated image that WILL be holofied for release. As Pokebeach states EVERY ******* TIME they post a pre-prerelease scan of a Holofoil card.
 
I'm going to laugh when some kids wins Regionals with this thing because he never flips tails with the first attack and has no bench. Then PUI will have the right to laugh in our faces :)

my apologies for not being able to see the card set number when i was on a computer that has a super small screen but thank you for letting me know
 
50/50 chance of not having it hurt on the second turn is nice. Though I did like meditate from the old Mr. Mime, but anyways objectively there are plenty of pokemon that can speed up energy in this coming format as is. It is a possible card if someone could find the missing piece to it.

Its first attack would be the reason to play it. Its not alot of darkness pokemon played or coming out to break the darkness pokemon open. Its a tech spread card and can be a pain. I like it but the one that has Metagross EX Pk effect is better.
